Cradle Of Filth Frontman Dani Filth On Accusations From Former Members: “We Had Done Absolutely Zero Wrong”
As previously reported, five former members of Cradle Of Filth filed a lawsuit against the band, frontman Dani Filth, and their management late last year after accusing them of copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, etc. However, Filth has since claimed that they have “done absolutely zero wrong.”
Filth told Hot Metal the following when asked how the band responded to the allegations:
“We just ignored it. We actually, as people, as a band, as me, had done absolutely zero wrong. It was blown out of proportion …
We’ve done an American tour, we’ve done summer festivals, we’re firing on all cylinders. Cradle are back. It never went away.
It’s a shame, really, that this sort of thing happens. But life throws curveballs all the time.
People say, ‘Yeah, you’ve got a new lineup.’ Well, do you want a fucking show or not? Bands evolve. Nobody really complains in the workplace if somebody leaves the office or the record label they’re working for or the radio show or magazine. It’s just a case of mutate and survive. We evolve. We evolve and move on.”

Fuel Premiere New Song “Want It”
Fuel have premiered a new song titled “Want It.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Pendulum,” which will be released on October 30.
The single was the first song vocalist Aaron Scott brought to the band after he joined. Guitarist Carl Bell said the following about that:
“He delivered an actual, tangible song idea and we began shaping it from there. It’s been so refreshing to have someone so proactive in our corner. We have more synergy as a band now than we ever have, and that truly has pushed this new record into existence.”
Scott added:
“‘Want It’ is really about refusing to get comfortable. No matter where you are in life, there’s always another mountain to climb and another goal to chase. I’ve experienced plenty of moments where things didn’t go the way I planned and battled depression in the early 2010s, but sometimes those setbacks end up leading you exactly where you’re supposed to be. For me, that’s what this song represents — believing in yourself, leaning on the people who have your back, and continuing to push forward no matter what.”

Stitched Up Heart Share Music Video For “Love And Death” Featuring Austin John Winkler (Ex-Hinder)
Stitched Up Heart have premiered a new video for their song “Love And Death.” The track, which features Austin John Winkler (The Founder, ex-Hinder), is from the band’s latest album “Medusa.” The group said the following about the single:
“‘Love And Death’ is about a deadly situationship with a toxic lover. The song details the painful realization that they’d stab you in the dark, sleep in your emotional coffin, and love you only when you’re hurting. But, in a surprising twist, this track is also a story of revenge. Even if they kill you, and you can’t make them want you, you’ll still haunt them from the grave. Because, after all, “all’s fair in love and death.”

Skillet Premiere “Scream” Video
Skillet have premiered a new video for their new song “Scream.” Frontman John Cooper commented:
“We went back to Memphis and worked with a producer who knew the band before we’d made our first record. Life has taken some great turns, but it’s also taken some painful turns. Now we’re here, and we still have more of a story to tell. The music kept getting heavier, and I said, ‘We’ve got to go all in.’
I don’t think I’m the only one who’s noticing the volatility of the world and how social media is a cesspool where people are constantly yelling at each other. It’s not helping anyone’s mental health. In this landscape, it’s easy to feel like nothing matters. ‘Scream’ is about wanting your life to matter when the world feels chaotic and overwhelming.”

Movements Premiere “Separate” Music Video
Movements have premiered a new video for their new song “Separate.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Happier Now,” which will be released on September 4. Singer Patrick Miranda commented:
“‘Separate’ is about a turning point I experienced during the writing of this album. Between creative friction, internal and intrapersonal struggles, and the weight of needing to create something that felt meaningful, the stress of it all hit me hard. I felt like I had nothing more to offer in that moment. Instead of fighting it, I withdrew. It’s about feeling so overwhelmed in life that instead of confronting the issue, you just want to separate entirely from whatever situation is causing it.””

Reminitions Premiere “12 Gauge Facial” Video
Reminitions have premiered a new video for their new song “12 Gauge Facial.” This track is from the band’s new EP, “Death Cult,” which will be released on September 4 via Seek And Strike.
The group commented:
“We’re very excited to be joining Seek and Strike after years of grinding! We’ve been working long and hard on these songs we’re about to release and we’re thankful to have such an experienced team behind us. It wasn’t just about signing, it was about finding a team who saw the vision we do and believes in that vision as much as we do. Along with a roster full of heavy hitters we admire, we knew this is where we belong. While working on these songs we held the thought in our head that we need these tracks to hit harder than ever before. I knew we were onto something good, but I had no idea that I’d listen to the final masters and be this blown away by what we’ve done.
The first single, ‘12 Gauge Facial,’ is a nod to the OG MySpace deathcore days. This song is about revenge in the best way possible. A shotgun point blank to the face of your enemy. We chose this as the first single because it’s one of our catchier songs and includes gang chants that will translate to our live shows. Crowd participation is important to us because it elevates the experience and creates some insanely memorable moments. We’re definitely playing this on our upcoming East Coast tour.
With this EP we really wanted to give our fans what they expect from us, but elevating everything to the next level. The breakdowns hit harder, the riffs are massive, the quality is insane and the snare has more ping than ever. We’ve kept the vibe of our songs the same, dark and pissed off, and we hope you enjoy every moment.”
