The initial bands have been revealed for the 2016 Knotfest Japan. The festival will take place at at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan, on November 5-6, and will include: Slipknot, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, and Lamb Of God. Slipknot, Deftones, Slayer, and The Offspring have been set for the 2016 Knotfest Mexico. It has officially been confirmed that Ozzfest and Knotfest are combining into a super festival called Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. During his solo show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN tonight (April 21), Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) paid tribute to Prince with a performance of “Purple Rain.” Prince tragically passed away today, at the age of 57.
