Blue Medusa Premiere “Crocodile” Music Video
Blue Medusa, the band fronted by Alissa White-Gluz (ex-Arch Enemy, ex-The Agonist), have premiered a new video for their new song “Crocodile.” The track, which features Okkultist vocalist Beatriz Mariano, is expected to appear on the group’s upcoming album.
White-Gluz commented:
“‘Crocodile.’ is about that feeling that you’re being watched… that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby, even though you can’t see it. It’s the feeling that something is lurking just beneath the surface of what appears to be safe or familiar. That tension between what you perceive and what you sense; that is where the song lives.”
The custom guitar White-Gluz used in the clip was built by Nik Huber Guitars in collaboration with Blue Medusa, Sea Shepherd, and Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein. It has since been signed by Alissa and Doyle, who will auction it off to raise funds for Sea Shepherd’s marine-life conservation efforts. Bidding begins on September 18.

“‘Graves In The Sky’ was a piece that was written from acoustic guitar and piano-a different creative approach for the band that yielded a new texture for the music, blending acoustic guitar, strings and distorted guitar along with piano. I felt I was coming close to death at the time of writing this song and the lyrics deal with that reality.”

Behemoth have premiered a new video for their cover of Venom’s “In League With Satan.” The track, which features Dimmu Borgir’s Shagrath, is from the band’s newly released album “I, Scvlptor.” Frontman Nergal said the following about the single:
“When we were looking for a name for our tour with Dimmu Borgir, I thought it would be great to use a timeless slogan and basically quote the gods of satanic rock’n’roll — Venom and ‘In League With Satan’ perfectly fit my vision. I honestly don’t remember what came first — the idea for the tour name or the idea of recording the song itself. What matters is that we recorded it on seven-string guitars with Shagrath from Dimmu as a guest vocalist. The song gained a massive weight and a completely new dimension. We’re planning to play it live and I think our version turned into something truly powerful.”
