• Moonspell Share “In Tremor Dei” Video From “Opus Diabolicum”

Moonspell have shared a new video for a live orchestral version of “In Tremor Dei.” The footage is taken from the band’s new live album/film, “Opus Diabolicum,” which will be released on October 31. That effort features the group’s October 26, 2024 show with the 45-piece Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa at MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. Frontman Fernando Ribeiro commented:

“‘1755’ was an essential album for the orchestral show and the very foundations of it are based on this portent record, Portuguese sung and thematic around the great earthquake of Lisbon, in the 18th century. It’s a track that captures the essence of the whole show and theatrics – Lisbon trembled again but the orchestra played on.”

  • Agnostic Front Premiere New Song “Way Of War”

Agnostic Front have premiered a new song titled “Way Of War.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Echoes In Eternity,” which will be released on November 7.

The group said the following about the single:

“The track is very much a sign of the times! How the corrupt politicians greed pulls us and many other nations into senseless wars. These actions unfortunately, come with casualties that civilians never call for. It’s the way of war.”

Vocalist Roger Miret also commented on the album:

“I’m excited for our new release, ‘Echoes In Eternity.’ We have always taken risks, never followed the pack and are really proud of how the album turned out. The songs feel fresh, and the lyrics are current and personal. It’s an attestment to our longevity, dedication, and leading the forefront in our genre. What we do in life now echoes in eternity, and it shows! The songs viciously hit hard and the sound is HUGE compliments of our producer Mike Dijan and an electrifying mix by Zeuss at Planet Z!! You will enjoy cranking the volume up on this beast!”

    “Echoes In Eternity” Track Listing:

    01. “Way Of War”

  • Black Veil Brides Finish New Album: “It’s Fully Mixed” And “It’s Going Into Mastering”

During a recent interview with PK of ALT 105.1, Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack offered an update on the band’s new album. According to him, the effort is “fully mixed” and “going into mastering.”

Biersack said the following while discussing the band’s latest single “Hallelujah”:

“We just wrapped the record. We put that song out… In the old days, they used to be called a ‘street track’, right? It’s not a single; it’s just showing ‘this is what we’re working on’ kind of thing. So we did that before the record was done. We just wanted to get something out, because it had been a year since we had released anything. And so now the record is done. It’s fully mixed. It’s going into mastering. Our work’s getting done. I think that we’ll probably have another song out before the end of the year. And the record will get announced early next year. I’m hyped, man. I really love the record. We’re really excited about it. We produced it ourselves. And it’s our first record with Spinefarm as a label, and so it’s just a great relationship, a great situation.”

He also added the following when asked if this is the first time the band have self-produced an album:

“Yeah. We’ve been able to work with really great producers over the years, and so [guitarist] Jake [Pitts] and I feel like we learned a lot from them. We worked with Bob Rock, John Feldmann, Erik Ron, all these guys who are top of the game. And so we wanted to try our hand. And we’re never gonna do what they do, but we felt like it’s our record and we wanted to take ownership over it and see how good we can do on our own. And I think the result is, at least for us, it’s pretty exciting. I think it’s one of the best things we’ve done because it’s unfiltered us. If you’re a fan of what we do, it’s going to be the most of what we do, ’cause without anybody else’s voice in the room, you’re left to your own devices.

As from a writer and a singer perspective, for me, one of the things I found to be the most exciting about this record was when you write a song and you work with a producer, a lot of times the producer hears it a certain way. So I get in the booth to sing it and the phrasing, they’ll say, ‘Ah, sing it this way’ or ‘that way.’ And so for this, it’s exactly how I pictured it in my mind as I’m writing the thing down. And so for better or for worse, it feels the most complete.”

  • Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson On The Band’s No Phone Request: “I Want To Perform For An Audience Of People That Have Some Emotional Feedback”

As previously reported, Iron Maiden have been asking fans to limit device use on their “Run For Your Lives” tour. Now, during an interview with Appetite For Distortion, frontman Bruce Dickinson further explained the decision, saying he “want[s] to perform for an audience of people that have some emotional feedback, not a bunch of Android twerps.”

    Dickinson said the following:

“Look, in so many ways, I wish the camera on [smartphones] had never been invented, but it has been invented. It’s now a kind of… infestation is a way I would describe it. It’s like some terrible disease that people feel the need to look at the world through this stupid little device. It’s like a failure of humanity. You’re surrendering your senses completely to this little fascist in your hand.

Put it down, put it in your pocket, and look around you. Look at the people, look at the joy, look at the band, feel the emotion, feel the music. What a phone does, it cuts all of that off. And so I feel sad. I also feel pissed off. Because as a performer, I want to perform for an audience of people that have some emotional feedback, not a bunch of Android twerps.”

I think some people who are real music fans, I think that they understand, and I think they’re getting better about it. They understand what’s going on. I went to see the Ghost show and it was a no-phone show. So all the phones were in baggies [Yondr pouches.]

Oh my god! The difference is astonishing. The atmosphere was, it’s wow! I mean really, really noticeable. Even the way people behaved with each other, interacted with each other — not looking at the band — just being civil to each other, talking to each other, you know, it was different.”

Notably, Iron Maiden will use Yondr pouches during their June 22, 2026 show at the Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France. That concert will be filmed for an upcoming release.

  • Gumm Premiere “New From The Pain” Video

Gumm have premiered a new video for their new song “New From The Pain.” This track is from the band’s new album “Beneath The Wheel,” which will be released on October 31. Vocalist Drew Waldon commented:

“I think a lot of the lyrics on the record deal with isolation and alienation, with a focus on self-work and self-preservation. Not fitting in, not being truly connected…those feelings lead me to isolate and bury parts of myself. Only recently have I tried to actually face these things and build something new out of them. I don’t want to be defined by feelings of isolation, I want to use the pain to make myself stronger and more open and vulnerable.”
