• Great American Ghost Premiere New Song “Scars”

Great American Ghost have premiered a new song titled “Scars.” Vocalist Ethan Harrison commented:

“’Scars’ was the heaviest song we recorded during the ‘Tragedy of The Commons’ sessions. When we looked back at everything we’d made, this one stood out — it had a different kind of energy, something we knew people needed to hear, but in its own space. Releasing it separately feels right; it gives the song the weight and focus it deserves. This is the angriest side of the ‘Tragedy of The Commons’ era. Prepare yourself.”

  • Megadeth Premiere “I Don’t Care” Music Video

Megadeth have premiered a new video for their new song “I Don’t Care.” That track is taken from the band’s self-titled farewell album, which will be released on January 23.

    Frontman Dave Mustaine commented:

“How many times have you wanted to say this to someone? I know you want to! Deep down inside, if we had the balls, we would tell more people ‘I don’t care’ more often.”

    He also added:

“Part of the main riff in this track had been floating around in my head since we did [2022’s] ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’, so I was pumped to start recording ‘I Don’t Care’ for this LP. I really love the guitar nuances in the track. There is the main rhythm riff, next, a very deliberate down-picking part, next, the octave chords with jump picking on octave notes (while still down-picking!). And the soloing and back and forth between me and Teemu [Mäntysaari] is magnificent!!”

  • Return To Dust Premiere “New Religion” Video

Return To Dust have premiered a new video for their latest single “New Religion.” You can check that out below. The band previously commented:

”We are born into expectations about what our life should and shouldn’t be. If you let them influence you without resistance, you’re no better off than a frog slowly boiling to death in a pot of water.”

  • Circle Jerks Reissue “Golden Shower Of Hits”

Circle Jerks have reissued their 1983 album “Golden Shower Of Hits.” The effort, which is available digitally and on vinyl, has been remastered from the original analog tapes by Pete Lyman and restored/digitized by Dan Johnson. There are several variants available and they feature updated artwork from Bryan Ray Turcotte and unseen photos from Glen E. Friedman. You can find a copy HERE.

    Circle Jerks’ Keith Morris commented:

“‘Golden Shower of Hits’ was recorded after Lucky Lehrer decided he was going to go to law school, so John Ingram filled in after being recruited by Roger Rogerson. We pretty much recorded live on the sound stage. And the really fun part of that scenario was that our engineer had worked with the Grateful Dead– which at the time was odd.

I’d say that this is a cornerstone in the Circle Jerks discography. When it comes to our setlist, we’re playing at least seven of these songs live. I think that’s a statement in itself. The title track is probably one of the most ridiculous things that we ever recorded.”

Notably, the band will be celebrating the reissue with a live performance before a screening of “Repo Man” at the Gardena Cinema in Gardena, CA on November 22. They also have the following dates booked:

Over 1000 voice memos, 3 journals, the album written and torn down three times..
