• Poison’s Rikki Rockett: “There Is Nothing On The Books For A 2026 40th Anniversary Tour”

Despite previous comments made by Poison frontman Bret Michaels and drummer Rikki Rockett, it appears the band have yet to book a 40th anniversary tour for 2026. Rockett recently confirmed the news to Talkin’ Bout Rock.

Rockett said the following when asked if he keeps in contact with his bandmates:

“I  talk to [guitarist] C.C. [DeVille] all the time, at least once or twice a week. And his mom and my mom were really close. And my mom passed away, and his mom’s going through a lot right now. And that’s kept us close on one level. I talk to [bassist] Bobby [Dall] less. Bobby keeps to himself a lot these days, which is okay, if that’s how he… Bobby can’t help himself but to talk about business, and sometimes he doesn’t wanna talk about business, so he just doesn’t wanna pick up the phone, you know what I mean? But Bret and I do not talk, unfortunately. And that’s a shame — honestly, it is. So we get bits and pieces of stuff.”

He also addressed the idea of a 40th anniversary tour:

“I’ll set the record straight as far as POISON touring: at this point in time, there is nothing on the books for a 2026 40th-anniversary tour. And I said it months ago when we got presented a contract from Live Nation to go on tour [next year]. C.C., Bobby and I agreed. We thought it was great. We thought the money was great. We thought the lay of the land looked great. And then Bret looked at it and has not agreed to anything. So literally that is where we’re at.

I’m not trying to bash Bret. I’m not trying to start any fights… But one thing you have to understand is, for instance, the Bret Michaels [solo] band tours very differently from the way POISON tours. POISON tours the way DEF LEPPARD and MÖTLEY CRÜE and Luke Bryan or whoever [tours], where we basically kiss our families goodbye for three-plus months, or however long it’s gonna be, and go out on a tour bus and trucks, and we’re playing five nights a week, sometimes six nights a week. And that’s not how Bret tours [with his solo band]. He does weekend-warrior stuff, which there’s nothing wrong with that at all. Joan Jett does it — I mean, tons of bands do this. THE ROCKETT MAFIA does it. We can’t play in Omaha, Nebraska on a Tuesday night and make any money. We’ll be upside down. But at the level we’ve managed to get to [with POISON], and DEF LEPPARD and bands like this, you can play on a Tuesday night and people will come, at the right time. You still have to manage it correctly.”

He also reflected on the band’s 2022 stadium tour with Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and Joan Jett:

“Oh, it was great. Look, it’s so funny, because people go, ‘Man…’ You would think that in these stadiums, there would be so much room to do everything you want. It’s weird, because it’s set up for sports. It’s not set up for a bunch of trucks and buses and all that stuff. So most of the time our bus would be two miles away in a parking lot somewhere and we’d have to take a golf cart or an Uber or a van or something like that to get to the venue. And then you get to the venue and it’s, like, MÖTLEY and DEF LEPPARD got all the nice dressing rooms and we’re in the electrician’s room or something. [Laughs] So from that standpoint, it wasn’t as nice as when we headline. But we were playing these massive places for amazing fans. I mean, it was literally a once-in-a lifetime experience.

We’ve played some big shows — we’ve done Donington, we’ve done a lot of these… Texas Jam, a lot of these things like that — but to do it kind of on that level, or close to that level, for 40 nights, or whatever it was, that was amazing. And it keeps you on your toes, man. You can’t go out there half cocked. I mean, we don’t ever do that anyway — I don’t think any of us ever go out there on stage nonchalantly. We’re a band that pride ourself in giving it everything we got. Even if everything that we have isn’t as good as it was the night before, I’m still gonna give it everything that I have, you know what I mean? And I know the rest of the band’s like that. Bret’s like that, C.C., Bobby, We never half-ass anything.”

  • 1914 Recruit Aaron Stainthorpe (Ex-My Dying Bride) For New Song “918 Pt 3: ADE (A Duty To Escape)”

1914 have shared an animated video for their new song “918 Pt 3: ADE (A Duty To Escape).” You can check out that clip below. The track, which features Aaron Stainthorpe (ex-My Dying Bride), is from the band’s new album, “Viribus Unitis,” which will be released tomorrow (November 14).

Vocalist 2nd Division, 147th Infantry Regiment, Senior Lieutenant Dietmar Kumarberg commented:

“The final single and video, ‘1918 Pt. 3: ADE (A Duty to Escape)’, was created in collaboration with two geniuses: the master of animation, Costin Chioreanu, and the genius of liturgical, soul-piercing vocals that you could never mistake for anyone else—Aaron Stainthorpe.

This is a story of unbreakable will to live, of the burning thirst for freedom and love. A story of faith in friendship, and the strength that comes from those who stand beside you. Where one falls, together, you rise. You conquer the freezing mountains, the deep snows, and even captivity. Beside you are your brothers-in-arms—the ones who lift you in the darkest hour.

‘Those who survived enemy fire – refuse to lose their friends’: And when old values collapse, and the world you knew fades—the only thing holding you together is love. Love for a daughter. For a wife. For your family.

‘The only hope that I care is to meet my daughter and wife’: Love, friendship, and mutual support—the things that make us human. Especially in times of war.”

  • Sharon Osbourne Says Ozzy Osbourne And Black Sabbath’s “Back To The Beginning” Concert Raised $11 Million

During a new episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon Osbourne confirmed that her late husband Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath raised $11 million during their “Back To The Beginning” farewell show in Birmingham, UK. This news comes after she previously denied reports suggesting that the concert made $190 million for charity.

    Sharon said the following:

“If one show could have raised… I mean, [the articles were saying] it was up to, like 190 million. It’s, like, any artist, just do one big show, film it and you can retire just on one show. No, it was nowhere near, and I wish that it was, but we are living in reality, in the real world.”

    She also added:

“It raised 11 [million]. But with the cost, ’cause we paid the cost of bringing everybody in, everybody out, accommodation, everything. [And] no one got paid. Nobody asked for a penny. They gave their time, their efforts, everything for free. People were just — oh God — so generous.”

  • Former Dogma Guitarist Alice Chiara Comments On Her Departure From The Band

As previously reported, former Dogma members Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith), Amber Maldonado (Lamia), and Patri Grief (Rusalka) recently made headlines after accusing their management of “manipulation,” “mistreatment,” etc. Now, another former member of the group, Alice Chiara (Lamia III), has taken to social media to open up about her departure from the band and voice support for the other musicians.

    Chiara said the following:

“Hey guys, this is Lamia III (Wacken Lamia).

Thank you all for being so kind and supportive, even though I haven’t spoken until now.

I understand and support all the girls who went through this situation, and for this reason, I want to open up and stand by their side.

Being a session musician isn’t easy — respect is often hard to earn.

After my shows in Europe, I had no choice but to step out of Dogma about a month and a half ago.

During my last experience with Dogma’s management, I faced several issues, but my social networks are not the place for details.

What I want to express, though, is that the main reason behind my departure from Dogma was the U.S. tour, which I was supposed to play without being granted a work visa to perform there.

I was contacted just one month before leaving for almost two months of touring across the USA, Australia, and Asia. Later, I found out through social media that the upcoming April tour had been publicly announced without being shared with me beforehand, and that it would last an entire month. When I said I shouldn’t have to find out that kind of information from social media, I was told, “there is still time.”

The music industry isn’t easy. But even when the opportunity seems big, always respect yourself — especially when your work isn’t valued as much as it deserves to be.

Don’t let anyone treat you as if you’re disposable.”

“There was two [obligations] that he didn’t finish. Lemmy, um, there’s an album coming out of people covering Lemmy songs, and he had chosen his song and he really, really wanted to do it. He really, really wanted to do it and we were trying to fit it in, and he really wanted to be on that album for Lemmy. And the other one was David Draiman and him were doing a duet and… never happened.”
