  • Benediction Vocalist Dave Ingram To Miss Upcoming Shows In Spain

    Benediction vocalist Dave Ingram will be missing the band’s upcoming shows in Spain “due to ongoing health issues.” During his absence, Dark Embrace vocalist Oscar Rilo will be filling in.

    The group commented:

    “Due to ongoing health issues Dave Ingram is unable to travel and will therefore not front the band in the forthcoming shows in Spain. He will remain in Denmark and his situation will be monitored and more information will be given when we get it. The gigs will definitely go ahead through thanks to an amazing offer from Oscar Rilo vocalist with Dark Embrace to fill in for Dave on these three gigs. Benediction would like to wish Dave well in his recovery and also thank Oscar for jumping in at this late stage ensuring the shows will still take place as planned. Benediction would like to assure the Spanish fans that they are fully focused on delivering their usual energetic Benediction live set, so let’s all get behind Oscar and make these shows something special. The show will go on! Thanks for all your understanding! Let’s keep live music alive!”

  • The L.I.F.E. Project Sign With Frontiers Music Srl

    The L.I.F.E. Project, the band featuring Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand and Paralandra singer Casandra Carson, have signed a new deal with Frontiers Music Srl. With this news, the group have also confirmed that a new album is in the works.

    Rand commented:

    “I’m pleased to announce that The L.I.F.E. Project will be joining the Frontiers family. It was important to me to be on a label that wanted to be cutting edge in the industry, but still have that mom and pop relationship with the artist.   • Satanic Planet Sign With Relapse Records

    Satanic Planet, the band featuring Justin Pearson (Dead Cross, The Locust, etc.), Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-Slayer, etc.), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, etc.), and The Satanic Temple co-founder Lucien Greaves, have signed with Relapse Records. The group’s new album will be released through the label this fall in collaboration with Three One G Records.

    Greaves commented:

    “I’m thrilled to be working with Relapse to bring the world the Satanest music for Satanists yet recorded, sonicly suffused with the higher ethics and activist grit of The Satanic Temple. Religious music just got a lot more interesting. May this serve as a soundtrack for a Satanic Awakening.”

    Pearson added:

  • Korn Premiere “Reward The Scars” Video

    Korn have premiered a new video for their latest single “Reward The Scars.” You can check that out below. The track was recorded for the new “Diablo IV” expansion pack “Lord Of Hatred.”

    Singer Jonathan Davis commented:

    “I’ve played ‘Diablo’ for years, so getting to step into that world creatively felt natural. I’ve always connected to the darkness in the game and the idea of confronting what lives beneath the surface — that’s something Korn has explored in our music from the beginning. ‘Reward The Scars’ came out of our own writing sessions as a new Korn song, and it became clear pretty quickly that it was a natural fit for ‘Diablo.’”

    Kevin Bjelajac, VP of brand and creative marketing at Blizzard Entertainment, added:

    “This collaboration came together naturally — Korn and ‘Diablo’ live in that space of confronting darkness head-on. With ‘Lord Of Hatred’, we’re telling a story about consequence, choice, and what it means to embrace — or resist — the pull of evil. ‘Reward the Scars’ captures that spirit perfectly.”

    Guitarist Kelsey Yates told Revolver the following about the new project:

    “I picked the guitar for the first time two years ago after wanting to play forever. I started playing every day, learning songs and eventually writing my own riffs. I ended up showing Christian and Andrew what I had written, and to my surprise they both wanted to start a band. I thought they were joking at first, but here we are!”

    Vocalist Andrew Neufeld also added the following about the new single:

    “‘Never Been Yours‘ is about an underdog chasing validation and self-worth in a selfish world. From the highest highs to the lowest lows, nothing was enough, they could never really make it, resulting in a hard-done by mentality, thinking the world was against them. In reality the world isn’t against you, it’s just indifferent.”
