“‘Elegant Illusion‘ drifts into some areas we never really explored before. There was this almost funky and uplifting feeling to the verse and it was exciting to tap into that. The song goes into a few different places but everything just kinda felt like it flowed together in the right way when all was said and done. Overall it feels like a new vibe for us and we like the energy and variety that it brings to the album as a whole.”

  • Limp Bizkit’s Estonia Show Has Been Cancelled Due To Frontman Fred Durst’s Past Support Of Russia

According to ERR, Limp Bizkit’s May 31 show in Estonia has been cancelled. The show was scrapped due to frontman Fred Durst’s past support for Russia.

An initial statement said the following:

“We inform you that due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, the Limp Bizkit concert planned for May 31, 2026, is canceled. Our apologies!”

Brita Kikkas, a ministry media advisor for Estonia, has since commented further as well:

“Estonia supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the principle that every last centimeter of Ukrainian territory belongs to Ukraine.”

    She also added:

“My position is clear, and I will repeat it: Russia is the aggressor, and Crimea is occupied by Russia. Those who justify Russia’s aggression and the occupation of a neighboring country are not welcome in Estonia. They have no place on Estonian stages and should not be earning income here.”

Back in 2012, after Durst married his ex-wife Kseniya Beryazina, a Crimean-born Russian makeup artist, he started spending more time in the region. He also praised Russia’s annexation of Crimea and even referred to Vladimir Putin as “a great guy with clear moral principles” He also considered the possibility of buying a house in Crimea.

In 2015, Limp Bizkit were also banned from Ukraine for five years after holding up “CRIMEA = RUSSIA” flag during a live show. After Durst divorced Beryazina in 2018, his comments on Russia slowed down. However, in 2024, he posted on the Russian social media platform VKontakte, saying he misses his Russian fans and that he hopes to see them again.

  • Great American Ghost Premiere New Song “Scars”

Great American Ghost have premiered a new song titled “Scars.” Vocalist Ethan Harrison commented:

“’Scars’ was the heaviest song we recorded during the ‘Tragedy of The Commons’ sessions. When we looked back at everything we’d made, this one stood out — it had a different kind of energy, something we knew people needed to hear, but in its own space. Releasing it separately feels right; it gives the song the weight and focus it deserves. This is the angriest side of the ‘Tragedy of The Commons’ era. Prepare yourself.”

  • Megadeth Premiere “I Don’t Care” Music Video

Megadeth have premiered a new video for their new song “I Don’t Care.” That track is taken from the band’s self-titled farewell album, which will be released on January 23.

    Frontman Dave Mustaine commented:

“How many times have you wanted to say this to someone? I know you want to! Deep down inside, if we had the balls, we would tell more people ‘I don’t care’ more often.”

    He also added:

“Part of the main riff in this track had been floating around in my head since we did [2022’s] ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’, so I was pumped to start recording ‘I Don’t Care’ for this LP. I really love the guitar nuances in the track. There is the main rhythm riff, next, a very deliberate down-picking part, next, the octave chords with jump picking on octave notes (while still down-picking!). And the soloing and back and forth between me and Teemu [Mäntysaari] is magnificent!!”

  • Return To Dust Premiere “New Religion” Video

Return To Dust have premiered a new video for their latest single “New Religion.” You can check that out below. The band previously commented:

”We are born into expectations about what our life should and shouldn’t be. If you let them influence you without resistance, you’re no better off than a frog slowly boiling to death in a pot of water.”
