• Poppy Featured In New Episode Of Spotify’s “Day In The Life” Series

Poppy is featured in a new episode of Spotify’s “Day In The Life” series. You can check that out below. The following was said about the episode:

“On tour, Poppy finds calm in the small things: a tea shop in a new city, a stop at a stationery store, a few quiet minutes spent scrapbooking before soundcheck. Anything to keep her grounded while the world keeps moving. In this episode of ‘Day In The Life,’ she opens up about her upcoming new album ‘Empty Hands,’ leaning into what she loved performing live and learning to accept the ride instead of fighting it. And when the noise settles, she checks in with her best friend, Pi, who, for the record, is human. Watch ‘Day In The Life’ with Poppy and Stream ‘Bruised Sky’ now on Spotify.”

  • Capsize Premiere New Song “The Fracture”

Capsize have premiered a new song titled “The Fracture.” You can check that out below. The band’s return comes after vocalist/guitarist Daniel Wand and former guitarist Nick Lopez were previously accused of sexual misconduct in 2019. Wand said the following about the new single:

“This song is about taking responsibility for everything in my life, even the things that are out of my control. I’ve found holding myself accountable is the only way I’ve been able to make sense of the aftermath when things fall apart in any category of life. It’s about feeling empty from it, and still trying to find some kind of light at the end of the tunnel by being candid about internal struggle. More than anything, I hope it connects with people who can find it relatable, who stuck in their own self-destructive cycles and helps them feel less alone in what they’re going through and maybe taking on a similar route to process what they’re are going through.”

  • Firewind Sign With BLKIIBLK

Firewind have signed a new deal with BLKIIBLK. This news comes shortly after vocalist Henning Basse returned to the band following the departure of Herbie Langhans.

    Guitarist Gus G. commented:

“We’re all very excited, as we commence work on the upcoming concept album that will be the biggest and most epic thing we’ve ever done. And for this, we couldn’t have imagined a better label partner other than Frontiers Records’ new imprint label BLKIIBLK. We’re honored to be label mates with metal titans such as Megadeth and Biohazard and we can’t wait to unleash the new music to the world. Please stay tuned for more details on that and we will be seeing you on the road in 2026!”

Aldo Lonobile, head Of A&R Europe at Frontiers Label Group, added:

“We are truly excited and proud to welcome Firewind to BLKIIBLK. Over the years, I’ve crossed paths with Gus G. on several occasions, and now we finally have the opportunity to work more closely together. Beyond being one of my favorite guitar players, he is a brilliant songwriter, and Firewind have firmly established themselves as one of the most exciting metal acts in the scene. We can’t wait to be part of the next chapter in their career!”

  • Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan Says The Band Have No Plans To Retire

During a recent interview with Dubai 92, Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan confirmed that the band have no plans to retire. This news comes after the singer recently floated the idea of retirement while discussing his limited vision.

    Gillan said the following:

“Well, no one’s really thought it through. We don’t talk about it that much. And as life gets on, the end is nearer than the beginning, that’s for sure. We all know that. But at the moment we’re getting a lot of joy from what we’re doing. I think the band is rejuvenated since Simon [McBride, guitar] joined us. And so we’re looking a long way ahead. And you don’t make long-term plans if you’re thinking of stopping. So, we’ll see what the future holds. I think probably human dignity is gonna be the deciding factor. Once you start going out and embarrassing people with your inability to do what you’ve done all your life, then it’s time to stop. But until that moment arrives, then we’re going good. And the band is hard and mean and hungry at the moment. I’ve never felt it so tight.”

  • Tommy Vext Claims John Boecklin Turned Down $1 Million Offer For Bad Wolves’ Name

Former Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext has revealed that he recently offered drummer John Boecklin $1 million for the band’s name. However, he ultimately declined.

    Vext said the following:

“…We offered a million dollars for the name back and John changed his mind after 6 weeks. It was fairly confusing, but we wish him well and good luck with Sarah and Javier!”

While unspecified, it appears the two new members are Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders) and Sarah JoAnne (anchor.thought). Vext continued:

“It’s not a joke the singer (they) is a great vocalist and the new guitarist is from a prog band called animals as leaders. I’m sure it will be a cool new band just not sure why they are calling it bad wolves since Doc, Kyle, Chris, DL, Max and I have all left left

But John can do what he wants just not sure how the audience is gonna react.”

    He also added:

“DL quit and joined falling in reverse. Doc quit and joined Snot. Kyle got a corporate gig. Chris quit a second time and formed a new band with me. John hired a chick singer now the drummer is the only original member.

Hopefully the new record kicks ass and they don’t go further woke”
