  • Limp Bizkit Play First Show Following The Passing Of Sam Rivers

Last night (November 29), Limp Bizkit returned to the stage at Explanada Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. The concert served as the band’s first since the death of Sam Rivers. Richie “Kid Not” Buxton, Ecca Vandal’s songwriting partner and producer, filled in for the late bassist.

The show found the band paying tribute to Rivers with old video clips and messages that said “Sam Rivers, our brother forever” and “Sam Rivers, we love you forever.”

Drummer John Otto also shared his own tribute on social media before the performance:

“Today is going to be tough. A first I never wanted to experience. Especially not now. You’ve been there for so many major firsts in my life. Some of my earliest memories were made with you. We grew up together. Laughed together. Realized our dreams together. And traveled the world together. You’ve always been there. The godfather to my girls, my best friend — my brother. There will never be another you. We’re going to honor the life you lived and the love you spread with every show we play. You’ll always be with us. Thank you to our fans for all the messages of support and tributes to Sam. It means the world to us. This one’s for you Sammy.”

  • My Ruin Premiere “The Audacity” Music Video

My Ruin have premiered a new video for their new song “The Audacity.” That track is from their new album, “Declaration Of Resistance,” which will be released on January 16. The following was said about the single in a press release:

“A visceral, full-circle reclamation of power, ‘The Audacity‘ confronts entrenched ageism, sexism, and the double standards still weaponized against women in music, politics and culture. Evoking decades of lived experience, with a testament to surviving in an industry that worships youth, punishes maturity, and fears women who speak with conviction. A tribute to every woman who’s fought through the swords of misogyny designed to diminish her with a love letter to resilience and a celebration of getting older, louder, wiser—and impossible to diminish. More than a continuation, it’s an evolution. With time comes wisdom, but rage has no age.”

  • Cronos Allegedly Declined An Offer To Join Original Venom Members For “Welcome To Hell” 45th Anniversary Celebration

As previously reported, ex-Venom guitarist Jeff “Mantas” Dunn and drummer Anthony “Abaddon” Bray are planning to celebrate the 45th anniversary of “Welcome To Hell” during festival appearances next year. Now, Dunn has revealed that bassist/vocalist Conrad “Cronos” Lant was invited as well. However, he ultimately declined the offer.

    Dunn told MetalKaoz the following:

“I’ll tell you right now that for 2026, the 45th anniversary of ‘Welcome To Hell’, Cronos has been invited. He was invited by me. He was invited by the lawyers in the [recent] court case [involving Cronos and Abaddon]. His answer was, ‘It’s not worth my time.’ That was his answer.”

He also added the following about his lack of desire to spend more time with Lant:

“What I say to people is this. Fair enough, everybody wants to see their favorite members back together. We know that. ‘And, oh, yeah, just travel separate. Just go in separate hotels.’ We’ve done all that. We’ve done that. We did it on the first reunion. Okay, think of the most toxic relationship you’ve ever been involved in, how it made you feel. At your age now, invite it back into your life.”

  • Amerakin Overdose Share Music Video For Cover Of José Feliciano‘s “Feliz Navidad”

Amerakin Overdose have released a new cover of José Feliciano‘s “Feliz Navidad.” That track was co-produced by Jonny Santos (Spineshank) and Nikolas Roy Quemtri and a video for it can be found below. Frontman Cody Perez had the following to say about the single:

“For years, fans have asked us to drop a Christmas song in true Amerakin Overdose fashion, and ‘Feliz Navidad‘ was the one people kept throwing at us. Growing up, my dad played the original every holiday season, so this felt like the perfect way to honor him while giving our fans something they’ve been waiting for. When I mentioned the idea to Jonny, he was immediately excited and on board. For the video, we wanted pure chaos—something that shows we’re a fun band that doesn’t take ourselves too seriously. We came up in an era where nothing was off limits, and we wanted to bring that same energy into this release.”
