• Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe On State Of The World: “This Is The Moment At Which Empires Fall”

During a recent interview with Kerrang!, Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe shared his thoughts on the current state of the world. According to him, “this is the moment at which empires fall.”

    Blythe said the following:

“I am not happy with the way the world is right now. We are careening towards some sort of crash, and there are people who not only recognize this, but are trying to hasten it in order to profit from it. [With] the distribution of wealth, the gap is getting wider and wider and wider and wider. I don’t just think that’s true: that’s a fact. We need to learn how important we are to one another. Because the super-rich aren’t going to help you.”

    He continued:

“This is the moment at which empires fall. We’ve seen this again and again and again. So without sounding too doomsday-ish, I think we’re in late-stage capitalism, and I don’t think it’s going to end well.”

He then went on to add:

“There are obscenely wealthy people dictating policy, whose only concern is enriching themselves.”

Blythe also cited the disaster capitalism that came about following Hurricane Katrina. That storm wiped out numerous homes and displaced those who were unable to rebuild. The singer continued:

“Then people with money come in and buy up what they can, develop it and profit off of it.

These people know that things are fucked up, and their answer to this is to become as rich as they can in order to isolate themselves and protect themselves from the rest of the populace.”

He also brought up professor Douglas Rushkoff’s book, “Survival Of The Richest: Escape Fantasies Of The Tech Billionaires,” and a conversation the author had with billionaires:

“They said to him, ‘We are constructing bunkers, and we want to know after the collapse what would be the best way for us to ensure the loyalty of our security staff.’ Once money is useless and you’re in your bunker, you have to have people to protect it. What’s going to stop these security people from going, ‘I’m in here safe. Fuck you, rich person. I’m going to kill you and take all your shit.’

It’s a very weird, self-serving agenda that these people have. And it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it’s not. It’s a little too late to change or stop this. I think the only way to approach it is to start developing community and figuring out how the best way to survive it.”

Blythe also stressed the importance of human connection, telling fans to “stop staying glued to your fucking phone” and to “get the fuck off social media all the time.” You can read more from him HERE.

  • Roman Candle Premiere “Can We Watch Something Happy” Video

Roman Candle have released a new song titled “Can We Watch Something Happy.” You can find an official video for that track below:

    Vocalist Piper Ferrari commented:

“‘Can We Watch Something Happy‘ is written from the perspective of my childhood self. I struggled with severe OCD growing up, which was intensified by being raised in a religious household. I wasn’t diagnosed until much later, so for most of my youth I didn’t understand what was happening — I just remember being scared all the time.

There was a constant cycle of praying for the intrusive thoughts to go away, eventually giving in to them, and then praying again for forgiveness. That’s where the repeated ‘one more time’ comes from. It wasn’t about depression or suicidality; it was about trying to survive this overwhelming fear of thoughts I didn’t want, and then feeling deep guilt because I believed even having those thoughts was a sin.”

  • UnityTX Premiere “Enjoy Tha Show” Music Video

UnityTX have premiered a new video for their new song “Enjoy Tha Show.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Somewhere, In Between…,” which will be released on March 13 via Pure Noise Records.

Vocalist Jay “Shaolin G” Webster commented:

“‘Enjoy Tha Show‘ was crafted to provoke thought on the narratives we embrace as humans, sharing our experiences to foster connection. After much reflection, I aimed to create something that resonated with my audience and mirrored my struggles. Seeking comfort among those who don’t understand the pain of feeling ethnically out of place can be daunting.

At times, the words of strangers would sting so deeply that I’d share them with others. It felt like a natural reaction, yet my friends urged me to rise above it. Ignoring it was harder than I thought, as I was expected to just perform and push through the noise. So, I shifted my approach to simply enjoying the experience.

Unknowingly, I built my life around catering to critics, only to realize that the audience often reacts negatively when you stray from their expectations. This goes beyond music; our society often limits opportunities for those daring to be themselves. It’s frustrating, and I accept that it’s a tragic reality. My identity is shaped by my experiences and environment, and that cannot be changed. Where do we draw the line between empathy and judgment?”

    He also added:

“When we got into the industry, we had to start playing by the industry rules and not so much by the rules that I had set for us. I was trying my hardest to stick to my code, but it felt like it wasn’t ever going to work. This album is what UnityTX used to be before we got picked up. It’s letting go of all the tension that made us feel like we couldn’t do anything in this space and trying to push past that and reach—not our maximum potential—but start to see where else this can go. We’re trying to evolve both as a band and as people.”

This news comes after Dogma’s management replaced singer Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith) and guitarists Amber Maldonado (Lamia) and Patri Grief (Rusalka). That trio recently launched a new band, called VindictA, after accusing management of “manipulation,” “mistreatment,” etc. Other musicians have since come forward with accusations as well.

The current Lilith commented on the tour:

“Last October and November, during our last U.S tour dates, we carried a message that was still taking shape. Some paths were broken before they could be completed, and certain cities were left waiting. That tension did not fade. It stayed with us, sharpened us, and demanded a proper return.”

‘Time to Rise Part I U.S. Tour” 2026 emerges from that demand. What comes next carries intention, consequence, and elements that will not announce themselves in advance. There will be moments you are not prepared for, choices you didn’t plan to make, impulses you didn’t expect to feel, and yet, you will feel them. Anaheim and Reno are part of that reckoning.

To the sinners who remained present despite uncertainty: this chapter is written with you in mind. What rises now does so with purpose, weight, memory… and temptations that will test how far you’re willing to go.”

  • Bleed From Within Share Audiotree Live Session

Bleed From Within have shared footage of their April 25, 2025 session at Audiotree in Chicago, IL. You can check out that in-studio performance and interview below. The band commented:

“We’ve had our eyes on Audiotree for quite some time. We saw this as an opportunity to showcase our material in a new light, without the usual production that we have with us in a live environment. In an age of over produced records & bands editing live footage, it felt refreshing to walk into a room and just play our instruments knowing that this was our one take and only chance to dial it in. There were no run throughs or drop ins. Play it loud, then come see it in the flesh in April/May on our first ever headline tour of North America!”
