These are extraordinary times. We feel fortunate to not have been on tour right now, or about to embark on a run. But the reality is it’s not just touring that’s been affected and the impact is not just in this moment. Every musician and band is feeling the impact of COVID-19 in some way and it’s not just hitting home now, but will have an impact for all of us for the foreseeable future. Your support is what has always gotten us through and is what will continue to help us during this trying time.⁣ ⁣ Tomorrow @bandcamp is foregoing their share of revenue on all sales and giving that portion directly to artists. This is something that can make a real difference so tomorrow we will be releasing exclusively through our BandCamp a new version of one of our all time favorite songs, “Ashes.” Along with purchasing “Ashes Redux” tomorrow you can also purchase all of our albums at our Bandcamp page and t-shirts and other apparel at our web stores. If you’re missing any of our canon in your collection or have been wanting a Pallbearer shirt, now is the time when those purchases mean the most. Thanks everyone for your continued support, stay safe & healthy y'all.

Pallbearer Sign With Nuclear Blast, Premiere New Song “Atlantis”

Pallbearer have signed a new deal with Nuclear Blast Records. With this news, the band have also released a new song, titled “Atlantis,“ as part of the “Sub Pop Singles Club.” You can stream that and a newly released live version of “Thorns“ below:

Pallbearer said the following about signing with Nuclear Blast:

“We are very honored to announce that we have signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast. We had the great privilege of working with them on the European distribution of our previous album, and it was quite clear that this was the next logical step for us. We greatly look forward to continuing our work with Monte Conner and his legendary team at the label, as well as being included amongst a truly unparalleled group of some of heavy music’s greatest artists of the modern era.”

They also added the following about the new single:

“We’re very excited to finally be able to share another piece of new material with you. As many of you probably know by now, Pallbearer has always been very ‘album-oriented’ — when we are writing music, it’s often with the big picture in mind. However, we also thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to release pieces that might not necessarily fit into a larger album.

Thanks to the Sub Pop Singles Series, we were thrilled to have the chance to write a brand new song, ‘Atlantis‘, plus also document how ‘Thorns‘, a song from our previous LP had taken on a different bit of attitude after being roadworn for a couple of years.”

07/13 Little Rock, AR – Rev Room (performing “Sorrow & Extinction“)
07/18 Oklahoma City, OK – 89th Street
07/19 Columbia, MO – Rose Music Hall

Pallbearer have announced that they will be performing “Sorrow And Extinction” in full as part of a special set for Tired Hands Brewing Company. The show will take place at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA on May 31 and it will also feature Weedeater. Pallbearer commented:
