• Ted Nugent Blasts Tom Morello, Green Day, Jack White, And Eminem

Ted Nugent recently decided to take aim at several left-leaning artists during a “Talk Music With Uncle Ted” video that was released amid his “Spirit Campfire” series. The clip finds the far-right rocker making pointed comments about Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave), Green Day, Jack White (The White Stripes), and Eminem.

    Nugent said the following:

“The guy in The White Stripes, I can’t think of his name, but he played the halftime show with Eminem for the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. A big deal. …Don’t they always lose? The Lions are a football team in Detroit, by the way…

Jack White, is that his name? Jack White. No, I think The White Stripes, is that his name? Anyhow, he was great. It wasn’t like a 10 like Sammy Hagar or James Brown. I think Sammy Hagar and James Brown and Steven Tyler, those are tens. Angus Young of AC/DC, that’s a 10. The guy’s a maniac. Billy Gibbons in the blues, rhythm, and blues, soul music category, he’s a 10.

Now, is that his name, Jack White? Jack White, he’s not a 10. He’s like a four and a five, but he really delivered real rock and roll. Real Detroit piss and vinegar. And Eminem, the guy’s a… Both of those guys, Eminem and Jack White: total idiots.

They don’t want their country to have secure borders. They think men should destroy women’s sports. Well, that’s not… that’s exactly what they stand for. When you hate Donald Trump, you you want men in women’s sports to destroy women’s rights. That’s what these guys stand for. They don’t think our border should be secured. They think we should invite jihadists in who announce they want to kill the infidels. They announce they want to kill Americans. And Jack White and Eminem say, ‘Yeah, that bring them in. Bring those guys in.’ Freak idiots.

But their music is soulful. Just like Green Day. Green Day, there’s not a brain amongst them, I don’t think. But man, can they play really, really killer stuff. Like Tom Morello, Is that his name? Tom Morel? Morello, who played with Springsteen and Rage Against The Machine., when actually they are the machine. Come on Tom, you got to know that. You’re not raging against the machine. You are the machine.

They don’t believe that America should have secure borders, which means they don’t believe in America. Which means they want to have a great successful life in America, but they don’t think you should be able to have one. Hey, Tom, come on my show. Explain… make your case. Good luck.”

Despite throwing shade at the above mentioned artists, Nugent did take some time to praise Yungblud. He said the following about the British artist:

“Now, I got to tell you this, what’s this Yungblud guy? Limey freak madness. This guy’s the real McCoy. Watch this Yungblud that’s working with [Aerosmith’s] Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry. It gives you hope that the really piss and vinegar, the James Brown, the original Chuck Berry, Little Richard is alive and well and this kid called Yungblud. What a great name, Yungblud from England. He’s a screamer. He’s a squaller. I was texting back and forth with Steve and Joe and he said, ‘This guy’s just like us.’ which we’re the last of them.”

  • Slaughter To Prevail’s Alex Terrible: “I’m A Very Kind, Sensitive, And Open Person. I’m Not Tough”

Slaughter To Prevail’s Alex Terrible has taken to social media to dispel the notion that he is tough guy. The vocalist, whose been known to wrestle bears, engage in bare knuckle fights, etc. claims he is “a very kind, sensitive, and open person.”

    Terrible said the following:

“I often read comments on the internet. You can’t take that away from me. I’m genuinely interested in what people write about our music under our reels. And very often I see comments saying that we play boring music, that it’s just breakdowns and not enough melody. I’m used to that. Everyone has different musical tastes, and many people don’t understand that we play a specific genre. At the same time, we don’t want to put any boundaries on our creativity — we just do what we like. And if you don’t like our music, or anyone else’s, it doesn’t mean it’s bad. It simply means it’s not for you.

Then I started noticing that people often write that they think it’s poser shit or “gay bullshit” that I made an fake scar, that I’m trying to look tougher than I really am. I want to explain this moment. I treat my appearance the same way I treat my art. I play with it and experiment. I want to look “cool” on stage, like a character from some video game. I’m a kid playing with his toy. It has nothing to do with my everyday real life. Listen, guys. Most of you who write that I’m trying to look tough don’t do what I do, and never will, because you don’t have the guts.

You didn’t live the life I lived. You weren’t in the conditions I was in. And I’ve never been proud of that, and I’ve never said I’m better than someone because I lived through something and you didn’t. I’m from a very small settlement in Russia. When many of you were going to schools with basketball courts, I was huffing paint and lighter gas at abandoned construction sites. You probably don’t even understand what I’m talking about. But believe me — I’m a very kind, sensitive, and open person. I’m not tough. I’m very soft and naive. And I never pretend to be someone I’m not.

My scar is just decoration, like a tattoo. And if it somehow triggers you, ask yourself why. Maybe it’s your own insecurities, guys? When people tell me I’m trying to act tough, I answer: not at all. I cry when I watch dramas, and I’m afraid of literally everything in this world. I’m not tough. When people say I’m a fascist or a homophobe, I answer: absolutely not. I just have very dark humor. And maybe only people with a broad worldview and strict self-reflection can understand that. When people say I support genocide, I answer: absolutely not. I was fined and almost went to jail for my opinion.

But at the same time, I deeply value and love my home. It’s very easy to build an opinion about a person based on their words or their image on the internet. And that actually works in my favor — people talk about me and discuss me. Cool.”

  • Yungblud Shares Music Video For New Version Of “Zombie” Featuring Smashing Pumpkins

Yungblud has teamed up with The Smashing Pumpkins for a new version of “Zombie.” You can find a music video for the updated take on the track below:

    Yungblud commented:

“’Siamese Dream’ was an album that was there for me more than I could ever explain when I was growing so to be making music with the band that created it is really quite hard to comprehend. Billy has always been such a massive inspiration to me but more recently a huge mentor of mine. His outlook on the importance of truth in art is something that I’ve always held close to my heart.

‘Zombie’ is the most important song of ‘Idols’ to me. It’s deeply personal and it was heavily influenced by The Smashing Pumpkins’ ability to mix emotion, cinema and heavy guitars. I sent Billy an email, asking if he would re-imagine this song with me and when he agreed to it, it was a dream come true. To watch one of my idols work on something that I had written was one of the greatest honors of my life. I love that this new version of ‘Zombie’ is heavier; it has Billy Corgan’s iconic guitar sound, it has more urgency and it rips my heart out. I’m so proud of it.”

    Billy Corgan added:

“Yungblud’s star shines bright, so it’s been great fun to lend our zig-zag voice to his ‘Zombie’, which he’s said was inspired by one of our own. Hence, the encouragement that we make this rendition as personal as possible and I’m proud to say we’ve done that; if only to honor him in return.”

  • Helmet’s Page Hamilton Guests On New Officer Lucifer Song “Far From Right”

Helmet’s Page Hamilton is featured on a new Officer Lucifer song titled “Far From Right.” You can check that out below:

The following was said about the track:

“With ‘Far From Right,’ Officer Lucifer offer no comfort and no easy answers. The track stands as a warning and a challenge, demanding awareness, resistance, and a rejection of the systems that thrive on apathy.”

    The following was also added:

“Beyond the music, Officer Lucifer function as a fully realized world. Band members are portrayed as hybrid soldiers assigned distinct military-style ranks, reinforcing a shared identity rooted in rebellion, unity, and defiance. The result is not just a collection of songs, but a living mythos designed to confront listeners and challenge complacency.”
