Converge, Godflesh, Pig Destroyer, And At The Gates To Perform Full Albums At 2022 Damnation Festival

In light of Ministry’s departure from the lineup, the organizers of this year’s Damnation Festival have announced some special full album performances from Converge (playing “Jane Doe”), Godflesh (playing “Streetcleaner”), Pig Destroyer (playing “Prowler In The Yard”), and At The Gates (playing “Slaughter Of The Soul“). Those four bands will also be joined by My Dying Bride, Wolves In The Throne Room, Decapitated, Misery Index, Despised Icon, Elder, Full Of Hell, Pallbearer, Incantation, Oceano, 40 Watt Sun, We Lost The Sea, Green Lung, Insanity Alert, Bell Witch & Aerial Ruin, So Hideous, Bruit, Distant, Frayle, and Irist. The festival is currently scheduled to take place at BEC Arena in Manchester, UK on November 5.

Oceano Recruit Drummer Chason Westmoreland For Upcoming Live Shows

Oceano drummer Matt Kohanowski will be missing the band’s upcoming live shows due to “home obligations.” During his absence, Chason Westmoreland (ex-Hate Eternal, etc.) will be filling in.

Oceano issued the following statement:

“Our drummer Matt unfortunately can’t make this tour due to home obligations. But we’re in good hands. Our long time friend Chason Westmoreland is filling in on Drums. Kayzo has officially released his new album “New Breed” and it includes some guest appearances from Oceano’s Adam Warren and Of Mice & Men’s Aaron Pauley. Warren and Atliens are featured on a song called “Burn It Down,” while Pauley and Phaseone are featured on a song called “Meet You In The Sound.“
