Ernie Ball have shared a new mini-documentary on Slash (Guns N’ Roses) called “Unspoken Expression.” The clip was filmed inside the guitarist’s private studio and it features him discussing “the moments that shaped him from his dad’s love of British rock ’n roll to his passion for horror films and his first blues lick.” Slash commented:
“The guitar is basically a vehicle to be able to express feelings of anxiety, feelings of anger, feelings of passion, feelings of love, feelings of excitement, feelings of violence, feelings of sex…all of these kinds of emotions are, for me, very well expressed through the guitar”.

Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have premiered a new live-action, animated video for their song “Driving Rain.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Living The Dream.”
“The idea behind doing an animated video for ‘Driving Rain’ is mostly due to the dark subject matter of the song influencing directors to come up with very dramatic, dark and sullen regular live action treatments that weren’t any fun at all (no offense to those guys). So, I wanted to create something that could be tongue-in-cheek and yet still be dark with live-action animation. We’re all big fans of Stoopid Buddy and they came up with a great concept and treatment. We love the video and it came out effin’ brilliant. FYI, no puppets were harmed during the making of this video.”
John Harvatine IV, creative director and co-founder of Stoopid Buddy, added:
“Our whole team at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios was beyond excited to work with Slash, Myles and those hard rocking Conspirators. We had a blast creating a dramatic heart-pounding music video with rag-doll-like rod puppets and adrenaline-filled RC Jeeps. From this moment forward, ‘Driving Rain’ is now the ‘Citizen Kane’ of music videos!”
