  • Revocation Premiere “Data Corpse” Music Video

    Revocation have premiered a new video for their song “Data Corpse.” That track is from their latest album “New Gods, New Masters.” Vocalist/guitarist Dave Davidson commented:

    “‘Data Corpse‘ is about social media companies constantly scouring our personal lives for profit. We unwittingly give up more and more of ourselves every year just to be sold a shinier pair of shoes, all until what’s left of our private lives is picked to the bone. For the video, we once again worked with the incredible team at MyGoodEye. My transformation into a mutant cyborg was influenced by a lot of the imagery that originated in classic cyberpunk films like Tetsuo and Akira. Enjoy the dystopian grotesqueries.”

  • Grabbitz, Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon), And Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox) Share Music Video For “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight”

    Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes and Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante have joined Grabbitz for a new single titled “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight.“ A video for the track can be found below. The song serves as the anthem for Riot Games’ “Valorant Champions” event. That tournament will take place in Shanghai, China on September 24 to October 18.

    Grabbitz said the following:

    “The best collaborations happen when everyone brings a different perspective to the room — and that’s what makes this record so exciting to me. Oli, Courtney and I came together from different corners of the globe, and landed on a track that sits effortlessly between my electronic world and the heavy landscapes of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox. The three of us just clicked — and the result is what I believe to be the best Valorant anthem to date.”

    Sykes also commented:

    “I’ve always been drawn to projects that blur the lines between storytelling and music, so working with Riot Games, alongside Grabbitz and Courtney, and becoming part of the Valorant world felt like a really natural fit.”

    LaPlante continued:

    “I cannot wait to release this song! Oli has given me the opportunity to perform live with BMTH many times over the years, and we’re finally debuting something we worked on together. Grabbitz produced such a great atmosphere and a song tailored to all three of our voices, and Oli went in right away and made it a true collaboration.”

  • Trivium Premiere “Dead Inside Of Me” Music Video

    Trivium have premiered a new video for their new song “Dead Inside Of Me.” That track will appear on the band’s upcoming album.

    Bassist Paolo Gregoletto commented:

    “‘Dead Inside Of Me’ was a song that came together at the end of a long day of writing new music last summer. It started with a riff I’d had kicking around for five or six years called ‘Slam,’ looping over a simple groove.

    A lot of the most fun song ideas come from blending two contrasting ideas together. Take a death metal riff and play it like a stadium rock song. Let the screaming and singing weave together until they feel like one voice. Being able to explain the idea that simply as the song was coming together helped keep us laser-focused and on track to see the vision through to the end.

    The song was loosely inspired by the Japanese concept of honne and tatemae — the tension between your true inner feelings and the mask you present to the outside world to hide them.”

  • The Hellacopters Officially Part Ways With Guitarist Dregen

    The Hellacopters have officially parted ways with guitarist Andreas Tyrone “Dregen” Svensson. This news comes after he previously took a break from the band following a hand injury.

    The group commented:

    “As most of you know Dregen hasn’t been playing with us for roughly three years now, due to his hand injury. All of us have been hoping that he would fully recover and return to the band at some point, but the tremendously sad fact is that the damage to his fingers is permanent. While he can still play some rhythm guitar most of our songs are just not doable anymore.

    As a founding member of the band Dregen will always be a huge part of the family and he will continue to be with us in spirit. He has always had many cards up his sleeve and there is no doubt that he will pull out a few in the near future.

    LG Valeta, who has been filling in for him since the injury, will carry on with us going forward.

    Frontman Chris Boltendahl commented:
