  • Cro-Mags Premiere “Wired For Chaos” Music Video

    Cro-Mags have premiered a new video for their new song “Wired For Chaos.” You can check that out below. The track takes its name from the 2024 documentary on vocalist/bassist Harley Flanagan.

    Flanagan told Rolling Stone the following:

    “The song is literally about being programmed and wired for chaos from birth, not just by environment, but by parents, trauma, childhood experiences, and the resulting PTSD that I personally struggle with as a result.”

    “It comes in with an aggressive metal intro befitting a UFC walk-in or a video game, then bursts into a more traditional HC thrash vibe before returning to a heavy beatdown at the end in an unmistakable Cro-Mags style.”

    “I am proud to say that we are one of those few bands that bridge the gap between hardcore kids, metalheads, punks, skinheads, and more, as seen in the audience of this video, which was filmed at our shows on the past few tours. Not many bands have such a blended fan base besides Motörhead, and I am proud to say that we are following in that tradition.”

  • Metallica, Pantera, Etc. Members Featured On New Version Of Accept’s “Fast As A Shark”

    Accept have shared a new version of “Fast As A Shark.” The updated track finds Wolf Hoffmann and Mark Tornillo joined by Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Mikkey Dee (Motörhead), and Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big). You can stream it below. The new take on the song is from Accept’s new guest-filled 50th anniversary album “Teutonic Titans 1976–2026″ (out September 4). Hoffmann commented:

    “This song was so much fun! We even re-recorded the intro in a Bavarian oompah style… a friend of mine lives in Bavaria, and he was in contact with one of those traditional Bavarian woodwind outfits, and they recorded the traditional German folk song ‘Ein Heller und ein Batzen’ for us, which was fantastic. We were lucky to get Phil Anselmo on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, and of course Kirk Hammett on guitar, which is amazing, and Mikkey Dee on drums, so that’s a pretty nice supergroup, isn’t it?”

  • Armored Saint Premiere “Every Man-Any Man” Video

    Armored Saint have premiered a new video for their song “Every Man-Any Man.” That track is from the band’s latest album “Emotion Factory Reset.”

    Singer John Bush commented:

    “‘Any man has his price’ is a more familiar phrase and that’s the theme, but we didn’t want to call it that. It was too obvious. We said, ‘How about we call the first part of the line ‘every man-any man’ and then stop there.’ The intro guitar part almost has this Andy Summers/Police vibe. Then [Joey Vera] goes into the cool bass groove. That’s vintage Joey; he’s such a grooving bass player, and it sounds super unique; you probably won’t hear a groove like that from too many metal bands.

    Combined with [drummer] Gonzo [Sandoval], sometimes the grooves that they combine on are essential to Armored Saint‘s sound and have been for years. When those two guys are locked in, it’s pretty awesome, because it’s like they could be playing in The Commodores. That’s the feeling that, I think, is the beauty of Armored Saint; it takes it to another place that a lot of bands can’t go to in the metal world. That’s a perfect example of it.”

    Bassist Joey Vera added:

    “I liked the idea of having the verse, music, and chorus be the same music parts, but with different vocal parts. This idea was inspired by a song by the band The Police. I also wanted to add all the kitchen sink ingredients, so there are nods to Foo Fighters, Thin Lizzy, and it all ends with a crushing Armored Saint riff.”
