  • Black Veil Brides Premiere “Certainty” Video

Black Veil Brides have premiered a new video for their new song “Certainty.” You can check that out below. The track will appear on the band’s upcoming album.

    Frontman Andy Biersack commented:

“The concept of ‘Certainty’ is central to this record and appears throughout the album. The song was inspired by the film ‘Conclave,’ particularly its reflections on religious certainty and how rigid belief systems can become prisons of our own making. When certainty hardens, curiosity, growth, and the willingness to change become impossible. Much of today’s political and social discourse exists inside these echo chambers of absolute belief, and that tension drives the narrative of this record.

This was the final song written and recorded for the album. It started from an idea Jake sent over, and it came together quickly over the course of a few days. It felt essential both narratively and musically, capturing the overall tone of what we’re aiming for. The music video, directed by George Gallardo Kattah and his team in Bogotá, Colombia, is one of our favorites we’ve ever done. His interpretation of fear and pride as biblical twins is stunning, and the visuals are incredible.”

  • IOTUNN Share “Access All Worlds” Live Video

IOTUNN have shared a new live video for their song “Access All Worlds.” You can check that out below. The live track will appear on the band’s upcoming live album “Waves Over Copenhell.” That effort will be released on January 9 and it will feature tracks from the band’s June 14, 2023 set at the Copenhell festival in Copenhagen, Denmark. Guitarist Jesper Gräs said the following about the single:

“‘Access All Worlds’ became the title track of our first album soon after the vocals and lyrics were written when we heard that ‘Access All Worlds…’ melody in the chorus. It is a towering song moving at slow pace through the ever unknown and we are pleased to present it here – live, raw, and majestic.”

  • New Miserable Experience Premiere New Song “Ataraxia”

New Miserable Experience (Rivers Of Nihil, ex-Revocation, etc.) have premiered a new song titled “Ataraxia.” That track is from the band’s new album, “Gild The Lily,” which will be released on January 23. The group commented:

“‘Ataraxia’ started as one of Brody’s ideas. We all felt it had a Portishead type of vibe that we instantly grabbed on to. As far as the lyrics, when life is falling apart the idea of ‘Ataraxia’ (calmness untroubled by mental or emotional disquiet) sounds very appealing.”

  • A Wilhelm Scream To Release New Album “Cheap Heat” In February, Premiere “Midnight Ghost” Video

A Wilhelm Scream have announced a new album titled “Cheap Heat.” The effort will be released on February 27.

    “Cheap Heat” Track Listing:

    05. “Let It Ride”
    06. “Fell Off”
    07. “Run.”
    08. “Visitor: Unimpressed”
    09. “Unsolving the Mystery”
    10. “Poison II”

Vocalist Nuno Pereira said the following:

“This record, and the process of recording it, are both a testament to and a celebration of the firepower and dedication our band has for our music. It has vitriolic energy behind every vocal, soaring guitars relentlessly shredding, and that sinister tongue-in-cheek shit we specialize in. This will go down as our best work to date. Guaranteed.”

    Guitarist/vocalist Trevor Reilly added:

“Our last album was more personal and earnestly poetic in our way, so the only place to go next lyrically was back down in the gutter where we thrive. We embraced our dark side on this one. Dove into sociopathy, personality disorders, concepts of evil, nature vs nurture… There are no good guys here.”

A video for the effort’s first single, “Midnight Ghost,” can be found below. Guitarist Ben Murray commented on that track:

“‘Midnight Ghost’ is definitely one of my favorite songs off the upcoming record. It has a darker mood while still hitting listeners with tons of intensity and energy. We all wrote this one together in Trevor’s studio, trading riffs and ideas naturally — it really captures the spirit of the record.”

  • Space Of Variations Premiere “Ghost Town” Video

Space Of Variations have premiered a new video for their new song “Ghost Town.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Poisoned Art,” which will be released on February 13. The group commented:

“‘Ghost Town’ is a about the feeling of waking up from a dream while still carrying it inside you—as if it were real. In that dream, you lost someone important, and no matter what you do, you can’t find them again. It’s the sense of loss that seeps from the dream into reality.”

  • Shields Premiere “Miss Me” Video

Shields have premiered a new video for their new song “Miss Me.” You can check that out below. The track is from the band’s new album, “Death & Connection,” which will be released on January 30. The group commented:

“We lost someone dear to us. This song is our tribute — a personal account of the unbearably tragic farewell to our friend, George Christie. Our new album ‘Death & Connection’ is a body of work born from the absence of the people who no longer hold space in our lives. This record was created from a necessity to express and soothe our deepest losses; however, that was never the intention — we simply set out to make an album we wanted to hear.”

  • Jeff Young (Ex-Megadeth) Offers Update On His “rEvolutions” Album

Jeff Young (Kings Of Thrash, ex-Megadeth) has offered an update on his upcoming album “rEvolutions.” According to him, he is “close to the finish line.”

    Young issued the following statement:

“Hello & happy 2026 friends! I hope this letter finds you well…

I’ve been patiently working on something for well over a decade now – an album project! The process began with a specific intent but no conditions nor time limit. The goal was, to create a fresh sound, incorporating influences & skills garnered over the years… (rock. metal, world, classical, blues, etc).

I wasn’t seeking to ‘form a band’ but wanted to collaborate with the very best group of players I could find. On that note, I’d say, lady luck has been on my side. I keep telling my close friends & colleagues, “Put me on the back burner, just have a listen to all these creative souls, who lended their unique talents, helping me sculpt these songs into something… magical.”

We are close to finishing the recording & mixing portions of this “life’s work” project. By beginning with the intent not to rush but to, “allow” the songs to write themselves. Waiting for the appropriate players to arrive & recording as much as possible, staying true to vintage Analog recording methods – this album pretty much wrote itself.

As a result, the songs reflect not only my journey as a musician, songwriter & producer… the listener gets to meet the musicians & influences that have fortunately crossed my path along the way.

Sonically speaking, the actual process of “recording” music has changed so drastically from a decade ago. Each song on the record is like it’s own ‘time capsule’ or movie. Along the trip, the listener can hear exactly where I was in a given year, also where the audio technology medium was in that moment.

I’ve talked with a couple record lables so far, that wanted to help us release this album but I want to be sure it’s really the “right fit” and we make the most of our creative efforts!

Jeff Young Group – rEvolutions Track Listing:

    1. “Lightning Rising” feat: Mohini Dey – Bass / Jeff Tortora – Drums
    2. “Gypsy Soul” feat: Dyna Shirasaki – Vocals / Ric Fierabracci – Bass / Shane Gaalaas – Drums
    3. “Slow Burn” feat: Andrea Whitt – Pedal Steel / James LoMenzo – Bass / Jeff Bowders – Drums
    4. “Monsoon” feat: Tina Guo – Cellos / Ric Fierabracci – Bass / Brian Tichy – Drums
    5. “Prodigal Son” feat: Mark Morales – Vocals / Gabriel Connor – Bass / Fred Aching – Drums
    6. “In the Flesh” feat: Ric Fierabracci – Bass / Jeff Tortora – Drums
    7. Always Remember Me (for Jeff Buckley) feat: Sage Sansone – Vocals / Jake Wolf – Bass / Matt Chamberlain – Drums
    8. “Lost in Tejas” feat Mark Morales – Vocals

BONUS TRACK: “Summerland” (King’s X LIVE acoustic cover) feat: Sass Jordan – Vocals / Brian Tichy – Guitar, Vocals

Songs were recorded in different studios, in different cities and countries so, it truly is a “world music” album – with elements of all the genres that have influenced my rEvolution.

So, it won’t be much longer! We are so close to the finish line and so excited to get this music out to the world. We can’t wait to introduce you to these songs and take you all on a vocal & instrumental trip back in time & into the future…”
