• No/Más Premiere New Song “Ley Indígena”

No/Más have premiered a new song titled “Ley Indígena.” This track is from the band’s new album, “No Peace,” which will be released on March 13.

    Vocalist Roger Rivadeneira commented:

“This song was inspired by the indigenous people of my home country, Ecuador. ‘Ley indígena’ translates to ‘indigenous law,’ a right recognized by the Ecuadorian constitution. While its boundaries often conflict with national law, it’s commonly invoked through protest or community justice.

When writing the song, I used the example of the city of Cuenca, where you’ll find signs that say if a thief is caught, they’ll be burned alive. As extreme as that sounds, people are taking justice into their own hands — sometimes it’s the only way to keep peace in a corrupt and dangerous environment. This was my favorite song to write on the album, and it encapsulates the idea that sometimes, without violence, there can be no peace.”

    Guitarist John Letzkus added:

“I wrote the song to see what Napalm Death meets Sepultura might sound like.”

    “Into Oblivion” Track Listing:

    01. “Into Oblivion”
    02. “Parasocial Christ”
    03. “Sepsis”
    04. “The Killing Floor”
    05. “El Vacío”
    06. “St. Catherine’s Wheel”
    07. “Blunt Force Blues”
    08. “Bully”
    09. “A Thousand Years”
    10. “Devise/Destroy”

Guitarist Mark Morton commented on the album:

“For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation. It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started.”

Vocalist Randy Blythe also added the following about naming the record “Into Oblivion”:

“Because that’s where we’re heading. In general, the album is about the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would’ve horrified people just 20 years ago.”

  • Temple Of Void To Release New Album “The Crawl” In March

Temple Of Void have announced a new album titled “The Crawl.” The effort will be available on March 6 and a video for its title track can be found below:

    “The Crawl Track Listing:

    01. “Poison Icon“
    02. “Godless Cynic“
    03. “The Crawl“
    04. “A Dead Issue“
    05. “Thy Mountain Eternal“
    06. “Soulburn“
    07. “The Twin Stranger“

According to vocalist/guitarist Mike Erdody the record is an “allegory about life, choices, and consequences.” Guitarist Alex Awn added:

“The biggest shift for me on this record was not feeling like we had to fly the ‘death-doom banner’ as part of our identity. Death-doom, as a genre, gave us something to anchor our sound around when we started. It was always a reference and touchstone. At the same time, we always wanted to make sure we had our own spin on it. We’ve always been adding to the conversation, adding to the genre, giving our point of view. A huge part of what makes a Temple of Void record is the non-death-doom influences that make up our DNA. And on album five we never once asked ourselves, ‘Do we have enough death metal? Do we have enough doom metal?’ We simply wrote a heavy-ass record—let the chips fall where they may.”

  • Diesect Premiere “Four Walls” Music Video

The release of this project has been so surreal and has opened a lot of doors for us, and we can’t thank everyone who has listened or had any part in it enough. We don’t plan on stopping anytime soon and we think 2026 will be our biggest year yet.”

  • Within Temptation And Smash Into Pieces Share “Somebody Like You” Music Video

Within Temptation and Smash Into Pieces have shared a new video for their collaborative track “Somebody Like You.” You can check that out below:

Within Temptation singer Sharon Den Adel previously commented on the single:

“We are excited and looking forward to release ‘Somebody Like You’ together with Smash Into Pieces. We have known each other for a long time and have been on tour together. This is the perfect song to also finally join forces. Adding an orchestra to this song felt like a small trip down memory lane for us, while at the same time blending perfectly with a more modern rock sound. We’re proud of what this song has become and grateful for the collaboration that brought it to life.”

    Smash Into Pieces added:

“18 years ago, we started our careers with one simple goal: to help others, through music, find their own engine, their inner drive, and pursue their dreams. That engine is, and always has been, what makes Smash Into Pieces what we are. Today, we get to share a song with a band that has inspired us, that we’ve experienced some of our toughest and grandest moments live with, and that has ultimately helped form our sound. For the people who change us forever, who carry us through our darkest moments, and leave a mark that can never be replaced, we give you ‘Somebody Like You.’ We want to direct a very special thanks to Sharon Den Adel for her beautiful performance in the video and to Within Temptation for sharing this marvel of a song with us.”
