Act Of Denial (Soilwork, Testament, Etc.) Premiere New Song “Puzzle Heart”

Bjorn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork, etc.), Voi Cox (Koziak, Victim), Luger (Benighted, Koziak), Steve DiGiorgio (Testament), Kerim “Krimh” Lechner (Septicflesh), and John Lönnmyr (The Night Flight Orchestra) have joined forces in a new project called Act Of Denial. The band are currently working on a new album, titled “Negative,” and their first single, “Puzzle Heart,” can be found below:

Voi and Luger commented:

“This is now just a continuation of what we have been doing all our lives and only now in our ‘older age’ we have done something serious. Of course when it comes to music, at least for us, we wanted to record an album with some of the best musicians in metal music and the ones that we listened to when we were kids.

We are not saying that this is something special what we are doing, but this means a lot to us and basically we are doing this for ourselves and our closest friends first but also for all the metal fans around the world who we hope are going to like our new music. Anybody can do it nowadays and we will support everyone no matter what.

If there wasn’t this COVID pandemic this would have never happened since all of these guys would have been on tour or busy with their own bands. We were playing our whole lives together and we don’t wanna say that the bands we played in before were not good or were good let music fans decide and let our music speak for itself but now this is a completely different story.

When you are getting older you get a better understanding about everything including music and here we are today playing with people who we listen to basically our whole lives.”

Sunflower Dead Premiere “Victim” Music Video

Sunflower Dead have premiered a new video for their new song “Victim.” This track is from the band’s new album, “C O M A,“ which will be released on October 19. This news comes after Christian Olde Wolbers (Powerflo/ex-Fear Factory) and Brian “Brett” Weir (ex-Starset) recently joined the group and after they decided to drop their theatrical appearance. Vocalist Michael Del Pizzo said the following about “Victim”:

“‘Victim‘, the song itself, is an extension of the pummeling out of my frustration and finally letting go of unwanted people, situations and feelings that I can no longer keep and still retain a positive outlook on life. As far as the video, I told Matt I wanted something raw, dirty and ferocious, kinda like Pantera’s ‘I’m Broken‘ video, to get the song’s meaning across and show SFD in a no bullshit manner. He delivered, and gave us a phenomenal look to reintroduce Sunflower Dead to the world.”drums.”
