Therion Premiere Music Video For New Song “Tuonela” Featuring Marko Hietala (Ex-Nightwish)

Therion have premiered a new video for their new song “Tuonela.” The track, which features Marko Hietala (ex-Nightwish), appears on the band’s new album “Leviathan,” which was released today (January 22). Christofer Johnsson commented:

“Like everyone else, I’m very sad and was also surprised to read that Marko is leaving Nightwish. But I understand the meaning of his reasons and there are many that are frustrated about the same things. But Marko has been active as a professional recording artist with various quality bands since the mid-’80s, so I am absolutely sure we will see his return to the scene in time. He is simply too good to not be involved with music. But right now I hope he will take a good amount of time to just find himself and get the full energy and inspiration back on track.”

Therion Premiere “Die Wellen Der Zeit” Video

Therion have premiered a new video for their new song “Die Wellen Der Zeit.” This track is from the band’s new album “Leviathan,” which will be released on January 22. Christofer Johnsson commented:

“Once again we worked with Carlos Toro and Abyss Production in Chile. Carlos has done the previous seven videos for us over the past 10 years, and this may be the best one yet! The lyrics deal with the ancient Germanic worship of Nerthus and you will get some interpretations of the good old times in the clip.”

Volbeat Premiere “Leviathan” Music Video, Reveal Details For New Album “Rewind, Replay, Rebound”

Michael Poulsen had the following to say about the album, which is available for pre-order HERE:

“The whole point for us going into the studio, is because you still have something to prove — not just for the fans, but mostly for yourself. We would not be able to do this record if it wasn’t for the work we have done in the past. No matter how old the band gets or how many records we do, there is always going to be that signature sound.”

It’s worth noting that the effort will feature a number of guests including Neil Fallon (Clutch), pianist Raynier Jacob Jacildo, and saxophonist Doug Corocran, who all contributed to “Die To Live,” Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus), who contributed to “Cheapside Sloggers,“ Mia Maja, who contributed to several tracks, and the Harlem Gospel Choir.

Monuments Premiere “Leviathan” Lyric Video

Monuments have premiered a lyric video for their new song “Leviathan.” This track is from the band’s new album “Phronesis,“ which will be released on October 5. The band commented:

“It’s the first song Olly Steele and John Browne wrote together and is bit more straight forward and groove orientated than our older material. Lyrically it’s about dealing with negative and destructive people in your life and how hard it can be carrying all that weight around. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do!”
