Ulysses Owens Jr., a jazz professor at The Julliard School in New York, recently performed a one-take cover of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” after hearing it for the first time. You can see footage of him adding his own drum parts to the track in the below video from Drumeo:
Palaye Royale have released a cover of The Smashing Pumpkins‘ “Bullet With Butterfly Wings.“ The track was recorded for the soundtrack of the new film “Divinity.”

Former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle is streaming a new version of “Simple Man” featuring Sammy Hagar. This track is from Pyle’s new Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute album, “Anthems – Honoring The Music Of Lynyrd Skynyrd,” which will be released on February 2.
