Ozzy Osbourne Postpones All 2019 Dates

Ozzy Osbourne has postponed all of his 2019 dates due to injury. While dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia, the singer fell in his Los Angeles home and ended up aggravating previous injuries he sustained in his 2003 ATV accident. The latest incident resulted in him having to undergo surgery last month.

The following statement was issued:

“OZZY OSBOURNE will postpone all his 2019 tour dates, inclusive of shows in North America and Europe, as he recovers from an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy® Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery last month. OSBOURNE will remain under doctor’s care in Los Angeles as he recovers.

Says OZZY: “I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”

The shows will be rescheduled beginning in February 2020 and concert-goers are being asked to hold onto their original tickets, as they will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Bring Me The Horizon Cancel Phoenix, AZ & Las Vegas, NV Shows

Bring Me The Horizon have been forced to cancel their February 15 show in Phoenix, AZ and their February 16 show in Las Vegas, NV due to frontman Oli Sykes rupturing his right vocal cord. Those were supposed to be the final dates on the band’s North American tour with Thrice and Fever 333. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

Sykes commented:

“Hey everyone, I’m gutted to announce we have to cancel the remainder of our American tour. I’ve ruptured my right vocal chord, and I’ve been told if I don’t rest it immediately I’m in serious danger of doing permanent damage.

I’ve been trying my best to fulfil our commitments as I really really hate letting you guys down, not to mention these shows have literally been the most fun ever- but at this point me singing in this state would be the equivalent of a footballer running on a broken leg..

we are working on plans to come back to Phoenix and Las Vegas this year to make it up to everyone who missed out..

Oli xoxxoox”

Judas Priest Cancel South African Shows

Judas Priest have been forced to cancel their first-ever shows in South Africa. The band commented:

“Due to circumstances totally beyond our control we are extremely sorry to have to announce that because of logistical and technical reasons the South African shows have been cancelled – we are very disappointed that this has happened as we were looking forward to performing in South Africa for our fans there for the first time – we have been touring the world for nearly 50 years and have always honoured our commitments – we are all very upset about this situation.”

Greta Van Fleet Cancel Australian Shows Due To Josh Kiszka’s Laryngitis

Greta Van Fleet have been forced to cancel their immediate Australian dates due to singer Josh Kiszka suffering from laryngitis. The group are planning on making up the shows at later date. Refunds are currently available.

Kiszka commented:

“Dearest Melbourne fans,

I have some heartbreaking news. Unfortunately, somewhere between travel from the U.S. to Japan and Australia, I developed an upper respiratory infection that has gradually evolved into laryngitis. I’ve been trying to recover, but cannot seem to get rid of it. Doctors have informed me that performing in this condition could cause damage to my vocal cords, which is something that I cannot risk, and therefore we must reschedule our shows tonight and tomorrow.

It means the world to me to be able to perform for you, and it breaks my heart to have to do this, but I must take my health very seriously, so as to not run the risk of causing more serious harm.

I am terribly sorry to make this announcement. We are already working on a momentous return to make this up to you and will be announcing that very soon.

I hope you can understand. This has been a difficult situation and disappointing for us all.”
