Atreyu Premiere New Song “Catastrophe”

Atreyu have premiered a new song titled “Catastrophe.” This track is from the band’s new album “Baptize,” which will be released on June 4. The group commented:

“‘Catastrophe’ is, in essence, an apocalyptic love song. We took a more imaginative approach to the feelings about that we as individuals and the rest of the planet were going through. The world felt like it was falling apart around us. Nothing was certain, and stress and darkness were coming in from every angle. But living through it all with someone who you truly love somehow made it all okay.”

Atreyu Premiere “Underrated” Music Video

Atreyu have premiered a new video for their song “Underrated.” This track is from the band’s new album “Baptize,” which will be released on June 4. The group commented:

“We’ve never been handed a golden ticket and never been given a free ride to the top of the mountain. We’ve worked our asses off for over 20 years to get to where we are, and this is only just the beginning. Our video for ‘Underrated’ is an example of how hard we worked to bring a live show to your living room. This video contains footage from our global livestream event combined with video content created by our very own Porter McKnight.”

Atreyu Premiere “Warrior” Music Video

Atreyu have premiered a new video for their song “Warrior.” This track features Blink-182’s Travis Barker and it will appear on the band’s new album “Baptize,” which is set to be released on June 4. The group commented:

“Sometimes life punches you in the face. The fist hurts — and the floor hurts worse. But getting back up feels incredible. ‘Warrior‘ is a song about the war within. There is a daily battle inside all of us, as well as the knowledge that we each have the power to not only get back up, but also have the fire we need to thrive and burn brighter than ever.”

Atreyu To Release New Album “Baptize” In June, Premiere New Songs “Warrior” And “Underrated”

Atreyu have announced that their new album “Baptize” will be released on June 4. With this news, the band have also premiered two new songs, “Warrior” (feat. Blink-182’s Travis Barker) and “Underrated.”

The group said the following about “Warrior”:

“‘Warrior’ is song about persistence and never giving up. We hope this song can be the puzzle piece that helps people realize that we ALL have the capacity for greatness. Sometimes, greatness can exist in the shadows and lives buried under negativity, trauma, or anxiety. ‘Warrior’ is about searching through all of that endless darkness to finally find the sunrise.

When we wrote ‘Warrior,’ the idea to do a big marching drum break came about. We wanted it to feel like a hometown football game. Travis Barker was the perfect person to bring this to life. It’s cool to have him be a part of the song and to perform in a different light than what people may be used to.”

They also added the following about “Underrated”:

“We’ve always had to prove ourselves. We’ve never been handed anything nor have we taken any shortcuts. It’s never been ‘the easy way.’ Over two decades later, we’re still making our mark.”
