• Metallica On Las Vegas Sphere Residency: “We Will Not Be Adding Additional Shows”

Metallica have confirmed that they will not be adding anymore dates to their upcoming residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, NV. Despite this, the band “are hoping to offer more in the future.”

    The group commented:

    “Thank You Sphere Fans!

Wow! What a week. We are so appreciative and grateful to all of you for the incredible response to our upcoming Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. We are completely and utterly blown away and cannot believe that we will have 24 amazing nights on stage there, all thanks to you and a record-breaking week.

At this point in time, we will not be adding additional shows, but we are hoping to offer more in the future. In the meantime, we hear you loud and clear that the ticket-buying process was often frustrating and not always smooth. We’re working with our partners to improve this experience and offer some remedies for the next time around.

We are looking forward to a very exciting 2026, starting off with seeing many of you in Europe this spring and summer as the M72 tour hits the road again in May. Before we know it, we’ll be exploring new frontiers along with fans from around the world in Las Vegas, and we can’t wait!”

  • Oathbound Premiere “Insomniac” Video

Oathbound have premiered a new video for their song “Insomniac.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Colors In Grey.” Guitarist Taylor Harper said the following about the clip:

“This video is deeply personal, born from our own battles with anxiety-driven insomnia. We chose the Cthulhu mythos to represent that 3:00 AM dread—a cosmic, overwhelming weight that feels impossible to escape. We hope viewers struggling with their own ‘monsters’ feel seen. Filming on the Washington coast in December presented massive challenges. Between heavy flooding and hauling gear down steep trails, we battled unpredictable weather that swung from rain to blue skies. The highlight was watching Brandon and Brenton work waist-deep in frigid, sketchy surf. Brandon’s efficient workflow and quick thinking on set were fantastic, allowing us to capture the miserable, cold atmosphere essential for the video.”

  • “The Ballad Of Judas Priest” Documentary To Receive North American Premiere At Canada’s Hot Docs Festival

Judas Priest’s new documentary, “The Ballad Of Judas Priest,” will be receiving its North American premiere at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. That event will be held in Toronto, ON on April 23 to May 3.

Co-directors Sam Dunn and Tom Morello previously commented on the film:

“While some may know Judas Priest for their huge hits that have shaped the heavy metal genre, there is so much more to their story. Tracing their incredible 50-year journey, this film will capture how Judas Priest both defined the sound and look of metal, but also made it a more inclusive place along the way.”

    Frontman Rob Halford added:

“We have lived and breathed metal for over five decades, and finally in this documentary we are summoning our congregation to officially witness our lives uncensored, in a never-before-seen way…the cassock comes off, revealing Priest in all its metal glory!”

  • mclusky Premiere “as a dad” Music Video

mclusky have premiered a new video for their new song “as a dad.” This track is from the band’s new mini-album, “i sure am getting sick of this bowling alley,” which will receive a digital release on March 20 and a vinyl release on May 1.

    The group commented:

“‘as a dad‘ is a song about several things.

the first of these several things are men who begin sentences / clauses with ‘as a dad…’. which is fine as long as the sentence / clause bears no relevance to the actual experience of being a dad. occasionally though, the prefix is appropriate (about 1/7). society must bend to this.

the second of the several things is a modern child’s wonder at how much it must despise its male progenitor in the early stages of life. the mother is all. the father can fall down the stairs and die in a puddle of his own slippers, and that’s okay.

the third, and last i can be arsed to list, of the several things, is something to do with the pride of being replaced by your offspring. i look forward to gradually fading into the background (unless i die suddenly in an avalanche) and becoming a grey footnote set against a sofa. when i stop breathing i hope nobody notices for at least an hour – this means that whatever board game is being played at this family gathering i’ve just fantasised is at least competitive (and wasn’t an expensive waste of time and money).”

  • Gene Simmons On Celebrities Speaking Out About Politics: “Do Your Art & Shut Up.”

During a recent interview with TMZ, Gene Simmons (KISS) blasted celebrities who speak about politics. He says they need to “do [their] art and shut up.”

Simmons offered a sarcastic response on the topic:

“Everybody in the world should listen to what actors and comedians say, because they’re so qualified. Basically shut the fuck up. Do your art and shut up. Nobody’s interested in your opinions, that includes me. Who I vote for, who I like. Who the f*ck do you think you are?

People in America work hard for their living and they don’t wanna be lectured to by people who live in mansions and drive Rolls-Royces. It’s time for everybody in the entertainment industry to shut their piehole and just do you art. Nobody cares what you think. I don’t. What will Mark Ruffalo — however the f*ck he pronounces his name, Ruffalo, buffalo — what does Mark think about politics? I don’t care.”

He also clapped back at those who disagree:

“Go to Kylie Jenner and see what she thinks about the war so far.”

This news comes shortly after Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe recently blasted people who criticize artists for sharing their political beliefs.
