  • Siamese Premiere “Drown” Video

Siamese have premiered a new video for their new song “Drown.” You can check out that clip below. Frontman Mirza Radonjica commented:

“‘Drown’ is self-directed anger. It’s about knowing exactly where it hurts and going there anyway. The mirroring in this song is selfdepravating(sic?). I think that when I sing ‘I want you to break me till I drown,’ that’s both a confession and a request. My drowning becomes a release, not a punishment.”

“The message of the song – that black is our ‘happy colour’ and that I want my funeral guests to adhere to the ‘dress code: pink’ – is actually no joke. It’s a shame that when I eventually kick the bucket, I’ll only be able to attend this pink funeral service lifelessly.”

Where beauty stood only the faintest glow remains, afraid of smothering it you shrink into a mould of your own making. Your edges dulled, your features disappearing, you put on that brave face not knowing whether you do it to protect others or yourself. You smile, you carry on, feeling everything, showing nothing.”

  • Filth Recently Involved In Van Crash, GoFundMe Launched

Filth were recently involved in a van crash. The vehicle was totaled, but the band made it out okay. You can help them out by donating via GoFundMe.

    The band commented:

“Tuesday March 10th we were involved in a crash on I-95 that totaled our van, flipped our trailer, damaged the side of it, and blew the tire out. Everyone is thankfully okay and safe, most of our gear was fine, some damage here and there.

We decided we didn’t want to drop the tour, we were able to find a RV to rent so we could keep going. The expenses from all of this keeps adding up. Insurance isn’t covering anything since the van is totaled and we didn’t have full coverage on it, we are completely at a loss with that.

The RV rental drained all the money we had saved up. We have a very large merch order that has to be paid off at the end of tour, as well as having to try and purchase a van before our next tour starts in April.

We wanted to continue the tour so we could play these shows, see all of our friends and fans, and make any money we can to help with all the financial stress we are under now. We hate asking for handouts as we’ve always handled everything ourselves, but we are in a bind and need help.

Anything at all helps, and we can not express enough how thankful we are for everyone who has supported us along this journey.

Thank you all so much, GUTTER GANG!”

They also added the following via social media:

“Yesterday morning we were in an accident on I 95 that ended with the other individual fleeing the scene and us with a totaled van and wrecked trailer. Everyone is okay and safe.

We were able to rush around and lock in a RV to finish the tour, and with the help of our tour mates Blackwater Drowning we were able to still perform last night.

Between the cost of the RV rental, needing to purchase a new van, tour expenses, merch payment that has to be paid, etc, we are drastically in the negative and not sure how we can move forward. We truly hate to ask for any help, but at the moment we are at our wits end.

We can not express how much we appreciate all the support we’ve gotten over the years from everyone, it means the world to us. If you donate $50 or more we will send you a free shirt and guest list to any show of your choice.

If you donate that amount, please email us and let us know what size, etc. If you don’t we will have no idea cause godundme doesn’t keep up with it, and we want to do this and say thank you. The email address will be in the comments.

Again thank you Gutter Gang for all the love over the years.”
