  • Sharon Osbourne Says Ozzy Osbourne And Black Sabbath’s “Back To The Beginning” Concert Raised $11 Million

During a new episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon Osbourne confirmed that her late husband Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath raised $11 million during their “Back To The Beginning” farewell show in Birmingham, UK. This news comes after she previously denied reports suggesting that the concert made $190 million for charity.

    Sharon said the following:

“If one show could have raised… I mean, [the articles were saying] it was up to, like 190 million. It’s, like, any artist, just do one big show, film it and you can retire just on one show. No, it was nowhere near, and I wish that it was, but we are living in reality, in the real world.”

    She also added:

“It raised 11 [million]. But with the cost, ’cause we paid the cost of bringing everybody in, everybody out, accommodation, everything. [And] no one got paid. Nobody asked for a penny. They gave their time, their efforts, everything for free. People were just — oh God — so generous.”

  • Former Dogma Guitarist Alice Chiara Comments On Her Departure From The Band

As previously reported, former Dogma members Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith), Amber Maldonado (Lamia), and Patri Grief (Rusalka) recently made headlines after accusing their management of “manipulation,” “mistreatment,” etc. Now, another former member of the group, Alice Chiara (Lamia III), has taken to social media to open up about her departure from the band and voice support for the other musicians.

    Chiara said the following:

“Hey guys, this is Lamia III (Wacken Lamia).

Thank you all for being so kind and supportive, even though I haven’t spoken until now.

I understand and support all the girls who went through this situation, and for this reason, I want to open up and stand by their side.

Being a session musician isn’t easy — respect is often hard to earn.

After my shows in Europe, I had no choice but to step out of Dogma about a month and a half ago.

During my last experience with Dogma’s management, I faced several issues, but my social networks are not the place for details.

What I want to express, though, is that the main reason behind my departure from Dogma was the U.S. tour, which I was supposed to play without being granted a work visa to perform there.

I was contacted just one month before leaving for almost two months of touring across the USA, Australia, and Asia. Later, I found out through social media that the upcoming April tour had been publicly announced without being shared with me beforehand, and that it would last an entire month. When I said I shouldn’t have to find out that kind of information from social media, I was told, “there is still time.”

The music industry isn’t easy. But even when the opportunity seems big, always respect yourself — especially when your work isn’t valued as much as it deserves to be.

Don’t let anyone treat you as if you’re disposable.”

During a new episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon Osbourne revealed that her husband Ozzy was planning to record a cover for a Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead) tribute album and a new duet with Disturbed singer David Draiman before his death. She said the following about those tracks:

“There was two [obligations] that he didn’t finish. Lemmy, um, there’s an album coming out of people covering Lemmy songs, and he had chosen his song and he really, really wanted to do it. He really, really wanted to do it and we were trying to fit it in, and he really wanted to be on that album for Lemmy. And the other one was David Draiman and him were doing a duet and… never happened.”
