• KISS’ “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” Video Surpasses One Billion Views On YouTube

KISS’ music video for “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” has surpassed one billion views on YouTube. That track appears on the band’s 1979 album “Dynasty.” The group commented on the milestone:

“The numbers speak for themselves. This one still dominates. IWMFLY baby!!”

  • Heathen Sign With Napalm Records, Premiere “Never A God” Music Video

Heathen have signed with Napalm Records. With this news, the band have also shared a new video for their cover of Laughing Dead’s “Never A God.” That band was fronted by David White in the early ’90s.

    The group commented:

“We’re very proud to announce that Heathen has officially signed with Napalm Records! Joining forces with a team who shares our vision, our drive, and our passion for metal music. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. We’re fired up for what’s coming and can’t wait to complete work on the new Heathen album!

We’re going to start this new partnership with Napalm Records off with a bang and give you something new to listen to while we continue to work on the new Heathen album. With that in mind, we recorded a couple of classic Bay Area thrash tracks originally written by other bands that we played with in the early 1990s. The demo collectors out there may have heard these songs before, but they’ll be new to most of you. The first single is ‘Never A God’, originally recorded in demo form (with David White on vocals) by Laughing Dead. So, new record label, new music, new video, 12” maxi-single pre-order, and a tour with Coroner in North America starting tomorrow. LFG!”

    “Barely Here” Track Listing:

    01. “Barely Here“
    02. “Jet Stream Wish“

    04. “It Happens To The Best Of Us“
    05. “You Hate Me“
    06. “Selden Mansions“
    07. “Oxidize” (feat. Marisa Shirar of Fleshwater)
    08. “What I’m Worth“
    09. “Pace And Loiter“
    10. “Irreversible“

    Singer Joey Chiaramonte commented:

“I think we’d learned so much about our process from making ‘Would You Miss It?‘ that we knew exactly what we wanted going into this one and it came together with more of an instinctual kind of magic to it. A lot of bands think their second album has to be this magnum opus epic that sews so many things together, and I think we’d actually taken more of that approach with our first LP.

So with ‘Barely Here‘ we wanted to do the opposite of that trajectory–we wanted to refine our strengths instead of doing this purposeful departure. It’s a snapshot of what our band is in its most no-frills, perfected form.”
