Metal Church, whose current lineup features guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, guitarist Rick Van Zandt, bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), drummer Ken Mary (Flotsam And Jetsam), and singer Brian Allen (ex-Vicious Rumors), have premiered a new video for their new song “Brainwash Game.” This track is from the band’s new album “Dead To Rights,” which will be released on April 10. Vanderhoof commented:
“‘Brainwash Game’ is really about the machinery behind the curtain. We’re living in a time where the modern media cycle and the Internet move so fast that truth often gets twisted, filtered, and repackaged to fit whatever narrative sells the most clicks. It’s not always about informing people anymore — it’s about steering them. The song dives into that idea of manipulation, how repetition and outrage can blur the lines between fact and fiction until people don’t even realize they’re being conditioned. It’s heavy, it’s aggressive, and lyrically it’s meant to challenge listeners to think for themselves in a world that constantly tries to think for them.”
Prong have shared a new live video for their song “Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck.” The live track is from the band’s new live album, “Live And Uncleansed,” which will be released on March 6. Guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor commented:
“This live version of ‘Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck’ is raw, high energy, and unpolished. If you want to get exposed to Prong or you want to get a taste of the explosive live show, this song is a must!”
Life Of Agony have shared a live video for their cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me).” Bassist Alan Robert commented:
“Even though our studio version of ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ appears on ‘Ugly’, we had never performed the song live until the ’30 Years Of Ugly’ anniversary tour. Bringing it to the stage after all these years — and experiencing the live energy of the crowd — made the song one of the highlights of the set every night.”
Blindead 23 (ex-Behemoth, ex-Katatonia, etc.) have announced a new album titled “Deuterium.” The effort will be released on April 24 and a lyric video for its title track can be found below:
“Deuterium” Track Listing:
01. “Immersion I“
02. “Immersion II“
03. “Wither“
04. “Worst Laid Plans“
05. “Deuterium“
06. “Towards The Dark“
07. “You Are The Universe“
Holy Wars have premiered a new video for their new song “Ceremony.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Shadow Work / Light Work,” which will be released on April 24.
Vocalist Kat Leon commented on the song:
“’Ceremony’ at its core is about the fantasy and fear of non-existence and the times I myself have not wanted to exist anymore. However, I want to provide a message of hope and more than anything, this song is about survivalism and a hope for a better life. We also touch on ceremonial references, including my own practice of candle magic. In the song I say “Wax in my veins, I’m candlelight” and ultimately I want to drive the point home of owning your power and your weakness.”
She also added the following about the album:
“The concept behind ‘Shadow Work/Light Work’ is taking the grief and trauma of losing my parents ten years ago, and looking at how hard that has actually been for me. I have almost held onto that grief as armour for a long time, and at times have felt like I am owed some payoff for all of this pain. Then, after my sister passed away in 2024, it instantly brought me right back to that shadow mindset and darkness. However, instead of being trapped in it, I used it as a way of healing through writing. Ultimately, you have to confront the darkest parts of yourself, even the parts that you are unwilling to look at. Only then can you eventually find the light.”
Miss May I have premiered a new video for their new song “Die On The Vine.” The band commented:
“‘Die On The Vine’ captures a mid-life reckoning — coming to terms with how deeply childhood experiences and unresolved trauma shape who we become. The song reflects the moment where denial stops working and self-awareness sets in. If those patterns are something you have to live with, the choice becomes whether to decay under their weight or grow stronger through them. ‘Die On The Vine’ leans into that tension, framing survival as adaptation: sharpening your thorns over time instead of letting the damage define you.”
Showing Teeth have premiered a new song titled “Rip.” The band said the following about that:
“’Rip‘ is a song about proving a point as violently as possible. Raised in a very strict, Christian-conservative environment in Kentucky, I did not take mental health issues very seriously. This is a very angry song that takes them very seriously.”
