Down have released a cover of Dr. John’s “Right Place, Wrong Time.” You can find a video for that track below. Vocalist Phil Anselmo commented:
“Dr. John’s ‘Right Place, Wrong Time’ is probably one of the first songs I ever learned or knew of as a kid. We grew up in the French Quarter and Dr. John’s music was everywhere. Recording this song was something that I always wanted to do and I’m happy that I did it with Down. The video was an absolute blast to make. Even my mom is in it! Because of her, I know Dr. John’s music very well.”

“‘Master of Deceit’ is centred around the idea of the human experience being diminished through pressures of conformity and fear. It touches on how individualism is being lessened as we’re being pushed to disregard our own experiences, emotions and beliefs. Metal Church, whose current lineup features guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, guitarist Rick Van Zandt, bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), drummer Ken Mary (Flotsam And Jetsam), and singer Brian Allen (ex-Vicious Rumors), have premiered a new video for their new song “Brainwash Game.” This track is from the band’s new album “Dead To Rights,” which will be released on April 10. Vanderhoof commented:
“‘Brainwash Game’ is really about the machinery behind the curtain. We’re living in a time where the modern media cycle and the Internet move so fast that truth often gets twisted, filtered, and repackaged to fit whatever narrative sells the most clicks. It’s not always about informing people anymore — it’s about steering them. The song dives into that idea of manipulation, how repetition and outrage can blur the lines between fact and fiction until people don’t even realize they’re being conditioned. It’s heavy, it’s aggressive, and lyrically it’s meant to challenge listeners to think for themselves in a world that constantly tries to think for them.”
