    Hatebreed will be releasing a new album, titled “Fatal Paradox,” on November 6. The effort’s lead single, “Kill Count Increase,” debuted on SiriusXM‘s Liquid Metal earlier today (July 20). It is also set to recieve a digital release tomorrow (July 21).

  • Rush Reportedly Planning Las Vegas Sphere Residency

    According to The Sun, Rush are currently planning a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, NV. The news was reportedly confirmed by SiriusXM’s Eddie Trunk as well. A source told The Sun the following:

    “Rush has an enormous audience across North America. Even though they are Canadian, their music and success has been huge in the U.S. Their hits, history and live performances make them an attractive proposition. Talks have been secretly going for now for a while, but the word is that contracts could be locked down in the next couple of weeks.”

  • Crowbar Cancel European Tour

    Crowbar have cancelled their summer European tour. The dates were scrapped as frontman Kirk Windstein continues to deal with a bilateral synovial cyst.

    Windstein commented:

    “Hey, everybody. Kirk Windstein from Crowbar here, and I have an announcement to make. As everybody knows, or most fans know, I had to perform sitting down last year during the Crowbar/Eyegategod U.S. tour. And I have a bilateral synovial cyst on my spine that is beginning to flare up again and it’s giving me a lot of problems. To cut straight to the point, it’s acting up and has been for a couple of weeks now, so I begin physical therapy tomorrow morning.

    Unfortunately, we have to cancel this upcoming European tour. I have been touring for 36 years, and I’ve never canceled a tour. But due to my physical health at this point, I’m unable to get on plane flights and ride in the van for two weeks and catch two flights home. So I do apologize, and I understand y’all will be disappointed, understandably, but we’re gonna do everything we can to make up these shows. We’re not rescheduling the tour, but just to make up these cities next year when we’re over in Europe with Crowbar.

    So thank y’all for understanding and all the best.”

    Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats have announced a new album titled “Shapes Of Midnight.” The effort was partially inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Masque Of The Red Death” and it will be available on September 18. The title track can be found below. Vocalist/guitarist Kevin Starrs commented:

  • Billy Keeton Announces New Band Skrapegoat

    Billy Keeton has announced the launch of his new project Skrapegoat. This news comes after the frontman was hit with a cease and desist after attempting to resurrect Skrape.

    The following press release was issued:

    “Billy Keeton Introduces SKRAPEGOAT

    Earlier this year, Billy Keeton announced his plans to revive the SKRAPE brand and return to the stage. The response made one thing abundantly clear: the connection fans had with this music had never faded.

    The announcement was met with an enthusiastic response from longtime supporters eager to hear Billy‘s unmistakable voice once again. Although the original announcement had only a brief opportunity to reach fans, the excitement surrounding the existing catalog and the promise of new music confirmed one thing: This project deserved to move forward.

    As the vision continued to take shape, legal objections from certain members of the original lineup brought the project to an unexpected standstill. Months were spent working toward a resolution.

    When it became clear there was no immediate end in sight, the decision was made to move forward under a new identity.

    More than a new name, SKRAPEGOAT represents the next evolution of Billy Keeton‘s creative journey.     On July 18, the cast of “Super Troopers” tried to put a stop to Limp Bizkit’s set at Creed’s Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival in Tinley Park, Illinois due to a “noise compliant.” Following a “search and seizure,” the “officers”also took part in a live performance of “Break Stuff.” You can see some fan-filmed footage of that below. This news comes ahead of “Super Troopers 3,” which will hit theaters on August 7.

    The group initially said th following:

    Our van broke down two days into our tour with Corpse Pile. The fan clutch exploded and punctured the radiator & intercooler, among a locked idler and shredded belts.

    We’re currently stuck in Mansfield, OH til lord knows how long. The repair bill is likely to be pretty expensive so we’ve uploaded all of our tour merch online in an effort to help cushion the costs. If you can find it in your heart to pick up a t-shirt, it’d mean the world. Quite a few designs to choose from. Shipping as soon as we find our way back home.

    Last night (July 18), Tomahawk (Faith No More, The Jesus Lizard, etc.) played their first show since 2013 at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN.
