Scorpions have announced a new graphic novel titled “Scorpions: Hurricane.” The book was inspired by the “Rock You Like A Hurricane” music video and it can be pre-ordered HERE.

In the distant future, the band tours the galaxy, until a rumored all-female planet, Venus-7, promises the ultimate afterparty. Instead, they land in a high-tech stronghold ruled by warriors who have sworn to keep their world male-free. Captured and outmatched, the Scorpions must rely on their wits, chemistry, and rock & roll firepower to escape alive.

According to Rolling Stone, Marilyn Manson’s ex-assistant Ashley Walters has been granted a trial date after reviving her sexual assault lawsuit against the frontman. That case was previously dismissed and Manson tried to have it thrown out again, but ultimately failed. As such, it will now be heading to court on November 15, 2027.
Despite the ruling, Manson‘s lawyer Howard King downplayed the chances of a trial:
“We’re confident the case will never get to trial after the court hears our upcoming motion for summary judgment.”
Despite this, Walters was able to use statue AB 250 to move the case forward. That law allows adult survivors of sexual assault to revive civil suits that were halted by the statute of limitations between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2027.
Manson‘s lawyer Alexa Foley claimed Walters could not use AB 250, because she doesn’t “meet the standard of showing she was physically restrained during her alleged sexual assault.” However, a judge ruled that it was too early to make a decision. More time was allotted for collecting and sharing evidence and led to the trial being scheduled.
As previously reported, Manson has been facing allegations from multiple women who came forward after being inspired by Evan Rachel Wood, who claimed that he “horrifically abused [her] for years.” Among those who shared their stories were Walters as well as Ashley Morgan Smithline, who accused him of sexual assault before recanting her statements, Esmé Bianco, who settled a lawsuit in which she accused him of abuse and human trafficking, Bianca Allaine Kyne, who filed a lawsuit after claiming he sexually assaulted her when she was a minor, and one unidentified woman, who settled a rape and death threat lawsuit.
For his part, Manson has continued to deny the allegations, while also lamenting the impact they have had on his career. He also filed a lawsuit against Wood for defamation, but has since been ordered to pay her legal fees. Despite all this, the L.A. District Attorney previously confirmed that Manson won’t be facing any criminal charges.
During Avenged Sevenfold’s August 8 show at Centre Bell in Montreal, QC, the band invited a fan onstage for a performance of “Unholy Confessions.” The concertgoer took over vocals on the track and has since gone viral. You can check out some fan-filmed footage of the performance below:

Exist Immortal have shared a video for the title track of their new EP “Afterglow.” You can check that out below. The EP will be released on September 11.

A new anti-ICE compilation, titled “Contra-ICE Vol, 1: ICE OUT,” is set to be released on October 2. The effort will feature members of Rage Against The Machine, Beastie Boys, Fishbone, Bikini Kill, and more. The first single, Kathleen Hanna, Ad Rock, Money Mark, Fredo Ortiz, and Frank Figueroa’s cover of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber‘s “Let Me Love You,“ can be found below. A release show will also be held at La Cita in Los Angeles, CA on October 3.

“Build Art Make Change (BAMC) announces Contra-ICE Vol. 1: ICE OUT, a benefit compilation uniting legendary voices across music, spoken word, and comedy to amplify the fight for immigrant rights and stand against inhumane immigration enforcement, out October 2nd via SoundsGood Records.
The compilation features exclusive, unreleased music from over 30 artists, including Ozomatli, Kathleen Hanna, Ad-Rock, Tom Morello, Fred Armisen, Fishbone, Money Mark, David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets), and Jello Biafra. This sonic journey, curated by BAMC founder Dali Colorado, shines a crucial light on systemic injustices.
BAMC is a nonprofit organization working to empower vulnerable communities by harnessing artistic expression to raise awareness, shift public discourse, and drive meaningful policy reform. They are leading a crucial shift in how America talks about immigration, moving away from abstract political debate and toward what matters most: keeping families together and building economic stability for thriving communities.

Contra-ICE artistic director and acclaimed cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz adds, “Artists, musicians, performers, and decent people from all walks of life are pushing back against the authoritarianism we are feeling in our own country. Contra-ICE is one expression of that. Through art, humor, and creativity, we are using free expression to remind people what is at stake and to show how culture itself can be a form of resistance.”
The first single is a cover of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s song “Let Me Love You” by Kathleen Hanna with Ad-Rock, Money Mark, Fredo Ortiz, and Frank Figueroa. Hanna says: “It’s not often you get to play music with your favorite people while working with a grassroots organization like Contra-ICE. They are passionately fighting against fascism and white supremacy, which is something none of us can afford to ignore. Mario Caldato Jr. (Beastie Boys) produced our song which was a dream come true for me. Thank you so much to Contra-ICE for making this happen and allowing me to represent what we collectively stand for.”
Proceeds from the Contra-ICE album will directly fund frontline powerhouses, including the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) and Unión del Barrio to defend labor rights and protect community-built wealth.
In celebration of the compilation’s release, BAMC will host a day of performances from artists and DJs featured on the record on October 3rd at La Cita in Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 14 at 10AM local at www.contra-ice.com.
The full record will be available for sale digitally and on CD. There will also be a limited number of vinyl copies, with a selection of tracks from the record (vinyl track list), and a premium vinyl accompanied by a print signed by Alcaraz and other compilation artists available for purchase.

Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes and Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante have joined Grabbitz for a new single titled “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight.“ The track will be released this fall and it will serve as the theme song for Riot Games’ “Valorant Champions” event. That tournament will be held in Shanghai, China on September 24 to October 18.
Grabbitz said the following:
“The best collaborations happen when everyone brings a different perspective to the room — and that’s what makes this record so exciting to me. Oli, Courtney and I came together from different corners of the globe, and landed on a track that sits effortlessly between my electronic world and the heavy landscapes of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox. The three of us just clicked — and the result is what I believe to be the best Valorant anthem to date.”
Sykes also commented:
