Black Map have released a new version of “Super Deluxe.“ The track has been remixed by Shaun Lopez (Crosses, Far) and it can be streamed below. McKay Garner’s new Dolby Atmos mix of “Super Deluxe” can also be found HERE. Black Map’s Ben Flanagan commented:
“We found ‘Super Deluxe‘ to be an essential representation of the band, so we explored different avenues to show off the mood and feelings of the song. Shaun Lopez‘s remix plunged the song deeper into the echoes of its inner core, while McKay Garner exploded that core so that it surrounded you in every direction. We hope you love these reworkings as much as we do.”

Black Map have shared a teaser for their new song “Left For Dead.” The full track will be released on November 19. It will also appear on the band’s new album “Melodoria,” which is set to be released on February 18.
Black Map have postponed the release of their new album “Melodoria.” The effort will now be available on February 18.
The band commented:
“We wrote and recorded a great record we are incredibly proud of and couldn’t be more excited to share with you. We’ve also been rehearsing nonstop to bring you another great live show. But having both our fall national tours unexpectedly and beyond our control be cancelled we’ve decided to move the release of Melodoria to February 18th, 2022.
With that, we’ll be rolling out a couple more new tracks shortly across all our streaming/social sources. Stay tuned.
If you have pre-ordered any merchandise, it will begin shipping in early November.
Thanks for your patience and support. We’ll see you on the road next year.
Chevelle have cancelled their November tour with Black Map. The band issued the following statement:
“We regret to inform our fans that we are unable to move forward with our planned November tour dates. Due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume performances to the same scale our fans deserve. Touring is our life and performing live for our fans is the best part of our job. We are disappointed to not hit the road again but we are making good use of this time to write new music. We want to thank our fans for supporting NIRATIAS and we will see you back out there!”
Black Map will be releasing a new album, titled “Melodoria,” on November 5. You can find a lyric video for the effort’s first single, “Chasms,” below:
“Melodoria” Track Listing:
02. “Super Deluxe”
03. “Nothing Over Me”
04. “Capture The Flag”
06. “Witching Hour”
07. “Left For Dead”
08. “In The Wires”
09. “Burnout (Do You Mind)”
Ben Flanagan said the following about the new record:
“Music and art, to me, has always been a kind of human binding agent. Even amidst the pure chaos of our world, here is this thing that’s there to excite us, to comfort us, and to help us get through it.”
Mark Engles added:
“We went for a very direct approach early on with the tunes on the first album (“…And We Explode“). The natural progression into ‘In Droves‘ was to branch out into other areas of our influences and music we enjoy. ‘Melodoria‘ is yet another step out onto different limbs of our tastes and abilities.”
