During Voivod’s June 30 performance at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the band were joined onstage by a brass quintet. Guitarist Dan “Chewy” Mongrain wrote an eight-minute arrangement for the quintet, which was featured on “The End Of Dormancy.”
