MC5 drummer Dennis Thompson has sadly passed away at the age of 75. According to the Detroit Free Press, he died at MediLodge of Taylor near Detroit, MI. The musician was reportedly staying there after suffering a heart attack in April.

During an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” actress Kate Hudson performed a live cover of Stone Temple Pilots‘ “Vasoline.“ You can see footage of that below. Hudson also performed “Gonna Find Out“ off her new album “Glorious” (out May 17) and a cover of Til’s Tuesday‘s “Voices Carry.”
Skillet’s “The Resistance” has officially been certified gold by the RIAA. That track is from their 2016 album “Unleashed.”
