During Pearl Jam’s September 27 set at the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA, the band performed “Whale Song” live for the first time. You can see fan-filmed footage of that below. Notably, the performance saw the band joined by Zach Irons, the son of the band’s former drummer Jack Irons.
During The Smashing Pumpkins’ September 25 set at Providence Park in Portland, OR, the band were joined onstage by Chino Moreno (Deftones) for a performance of “Jellybelly.” You can see footage of that below. During yesterday’s (September 17) Sky Arts Awards at the Roundhouse in London, UK, Slash (Guns N’ Roses) and Brian Johnson (AC/DC) performed their collaborative cover of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Killing Floor.” You can see pro-shot footage of that below. The studio version of the track appears on Slash’s blues album “Orgy Of The Damned.”
