Daughters Premiere “Less Sex” Music Video

Daughters have premiered a new video for their song “Less Sex.” This track is from the band’s latest album “You Won’t Get What You Want.“

The group said the following about the Jeremy Wabiszczewicz directed clip:

“More than a decade after Jeremy Wabiszczewicz was a founding member of Daughters, he proposed an intriguing concept for a Less Sex video, dark and unnerving, to match the mood the song carries with it. To say we are pleased with the end result would be an egregious understatement. Our dear friend has gone all out and with that, provided us a visual accompaniment that, quite simply, floors us with every viewing.

It was my pleasure to work with Jeremy for the first time since his departure from our graces more that a decade ago. His professionalism guided me through the awkwardness of my first video – the soundstage formalities. His positive energy and direction got me through 110 degree desert heat, that sucked the life from my sweating pores. Thank you to Jeremy for his incredible work ethic and astounding vision. We are blessed with this stunning video, Less Sex.”

Daughters Team Up With Artist Alexander Barton For New Short Film Complimented By Their Track “City Song”

Daughters have teamed up with artist Alexander Barton for a new short film called “Magic Relighting Candle.” The clip is complimented by the band’s track “City Song” off their latest album “You Won’t Get What You Want.”

Barton commented:

“As a friend and collaborator of Daughters, I complimented six minutes of experimentation with a familiar household performance to their introductory track ‘City Song‘. The flame teases the hopeful youth and rhythmically refuses his satisfaction. Flickering in and out of grain and noise, disappointment and smoke, ‘Magic Relighting Candle’ challenges the creative and superstitious.”

Daughters guitarist Nick Sadler added:

“Alex has been an important friend and cohort for about 20 years now. He is also one of my favorite creative thinks. We are always in good fortune when Alex has a project in mind for Daughters.”
