  • Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland Launches New Signature Jackson King V Guitar

Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland has just launched a new signature Jackson King V guitar. A mini-documentary regarding that can be found below. Fans can also purchase the guitar and view its specs HERE.

    Borland commented:

“It’s taking me a long time to figure out what I need as a guitar player. For me, you just need volume, pickups, locking tremolo system and 24 frets, that’s it. Live, it just needs to be as bulletproof as possible. I’ve been very rough with guitars over the years. I’ve come to realize that the more streamlined our guitars are, the less problems we have on stage… Jackson is fun. The over-the-top, shred-a-copter shapes and my outrageous stage costumes pushing the boundaries, this fits in more with that. The way people dress, it affects how you behave, and I think it also changes how I play guitar.”

Peter Wichers, product development manager at Jackson Guitars, added:

“Wes Borland is unlike anyone else in nu-metal — nobody looks or sounds like him. When our artist rep Mike Tempesta [formerly of Powerman 5000, etc.] introduced Wes to some Jackson Custom Shop guitars, he picked a left-handed King V and modded it for his right-hand playing, which left the headstock logo upside down. He loved it, so we kept it. That happy accident became one of the most iconic details of the whole build. Being involved in the development of his Signature King V has been an incredibly cool project, and I think that shows in every inch of this guitar.”

  • Psycroptic To Release New Album “The Pulse Of Annihilation” In July

Psycroptic will be releasing a new album, titled “The Pulse Of Annihilation,” on July 17. A video for the effort’s first single, “Gathering A Venomous Herd,” can be found below:

“The Pulse Of Annihilation” Track Listing:

    01. “Ashes Of A New Dawn“
    02. “Gathering A Venomous Herd“
    03. “A Sword Of Me“
    04. “No Time For The Weak“
    05. “Our Pillars Fall“
    06. “Annihilation Pulse“
    07. “No Blade Of Grass“
    08. “To Embrace This Curse“
    09. “Forging The Crown“

    Guitarist Joseph Haley commented:

“‘The Pulse Of Annihilation‘ is pretty much the culmination of everything that has come before. As with past releases, we never force anything stylistically and just let the songs manifest of their own accord – maintaining progression while remaining very much Psycroptic. Because of this, I feel this is our most epic, thrashing, technical while grooviest release yet.”

  • Guilt Trip Team Up With Adidas For New Limited Edition Shoes

Guilt Trip have teamed up with Adidas for some new limited edition shoes. The Superstar II-style footwear will be available on June 6. Drummer Tom Aimson told Hype Beast the following about the shoes:

“Adidas is ingrained in our culture. Being from the north of England, you see the brand in music, football and beyond because it’s what people relate to the most around here. We’re honored to be working with them on a shoe, especially the Superstar II.”

    He also added:

“Superstars were everywhere when we were kids. Seeing Korn, Slipknot and all the other megal bands wearing them in the late ’90s-early ’00s was a massive influence as well as the general Manchester style.”

  • Turnover Premiere “I’m Up, I’m Up” Video

  • Circle Jerks Vocalist Keith Morris Blasts MAGA Fan For Calling Him A “Traitor”: “Do You Fucking Understand Our Fucking Lyrics?”

During Circle Jerks’ May 24 show at The Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, NV, a MAGA fan got put in his place after calling frontman Keith Morris a “traitor.” The singer responded by saying “do you fucking understand our fucking lyrics?.”

Morris initially ruffled some feathers after telling the audience the following:

“Some of our subject material includes some violence. We’re not violent people, but we live in such shitty times. It’s real easy to to run out and purchase a gun and want to shoot somebody. Now, of course, we wouldn’t do that. What we would do, is we’d just rent a tractor and just fucking jam down the sidewalk. Just get back in that shop, get in your car, get off the fucking sidewalk. Anyways, we live in incredibly horrible times right now. I’m going to be 71 in 4 months.

In all of my time on the planet Earth, living on the continent of North America, I’ve never seen such a motherfucking shit show of such… It’s a fucking shit barge of fucking politicians. They’re the fucking worst. And even you Republicans that think your guys, your people are doing all of these great things for you, they only want to fuck you in the ass. And I do believe their motto is, ‘the younger the better.’”

The fan in question, who was apparently angry with those comments and Morris’ refusal to sign an album mid-show, then called him a “traitor.” This caused the vocalist to fire back:

“I’m a traitor? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Fuck you. I vote in every election and I always vote for the least stinkiest piece of shit. So, you’re not here for my political bullshit, you’re here for the music. Do you fucking understand our fucking lyrics? Do you understand what we’re singing about?

Do you fucking understand here that I think that I think fucking Donald Trump is the biggest piece of shit that ever walked upon the fucking earth? Are you fucking Nazis? Are you fucking fascists? Well here’s the deal, gentlemen. You guys, First: I’m not signing your record. Second off, the next time we come to town, stay the fuck home. It’s really simple.”

The band then started playing “Under The Gun” when a fight broke out in the crowd. A number of people, including the aforementioned fan and another triggered by Morris’ comments, were then thrown out by security. Morris also addressed that:

“You know what? We’re all citizens of the United States. That does not mean we have to align ourselves with those mother fucking dipshits. None of them!”

    He later added:

“We have songs with fucking wonderful lyrics. We have songs about all the shit that bothers us. And we hope that it bothers you to the point where you want to do something about it.”

He continued after another fan told him to “fuck off”:

“I’m not going to fuck off. And if you’re not digging this, you can take the route those two guys that were up front [did.]. You can go out and hold hands with them, out front.

One of our situations is, and I accused those two guys of being Nazis. USA, USA. Hooray for the fuckin’ USA, except when we’re selling weapons to fucking wipe out people. Fuck that noise. We have a situation going on right now, where we have this group of people, these know-it-all people, these religious people, these white Christian nationalists who are nothing but fucking Bible-waving Nazis. When we wrote this song, when Greg and I wrote this song 800 years ago, we had a group of people back then, we called them the white fucking moral majority.”
