Metallica’s Kirk Hammett celebrated his 63rd birthday on November 18. As such, the band decided to prank him during their November 19 show in Auckland, NZ. Members of the group and their crew sprayed the guitarist with silly string as frontman James Hetfield sang “Happy Birthday.” You can see footage of that below:

Party Cannon bassist Clankenstein commented:
“The dumbest tour of the year is back with voracious contempt and we’ve put together a lineup that can only be described as the epoch of barbarity. It’s an honour to say the undisputed kings of slam Internal Bleeding are coming to settle all scores and anoint the UK in servitude on this co-headliner in April. That’s right, two headline sets in one night from both Party Cannon and Internal Bleeding. High tariff behaviour and extreme IQ loss guaranteed – I would legitimately recommend wearing a helmet to this one as injuries are inevitable.
It’s unreal to be touring with the band that started it all; Internal Bleeding are the band that made me discover my love for ignorant riffing which coincidentally coincided with discovering my love of punching dry wall.
We’re raising the stakes on this tour – new release, new songs in the set, upgraded stage show and even bringing back a certain classic from the demo days we haven’t played in many years. We’ve enlisted the most corrupt scientific professionals to help us produce a show that’s as harmful to your IQ as possible. Concentrated dumbassery in its purest form.”
HEALTH have premiered a new song titled “SHRED ENVY.” This track is from the band’s new album, “CONFLICT DLC,” which will be released on December 11.
Vana has signed a new deal with Sumerian Records. With this news, the singer has also released a new song titled “Pray.” You can find a video for that track below:
Vana said the following about the single:
“This song stems from the idea of how it’d feel experiencing psychosis. Sonically, this song is just as chaotic as I’d imagine someone’s psyche would be if they were in a manic episode. Almost as if both the angel and the devil on your shoulders were both screaming in your ears at the same time.”
She also added the following about signing with Sumerian:
“Signing with Sumerian feels like I’ve found a label that understands my brain. They believed in ‘Pray‘ the second they heard it, as well as in the world I want to create around my project. This song is the beginning of a whole cinematic universe I’ve been dying to create. I feel like I just joined the perfect team to help me make the chaos in my brain real. Launching ‘Pray‘ with Sumerian already feels like the start of something huge, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been cooking!”

The Gloom In The Corner have premiered a new video for their new song “Angel’s Wrath Whiskey.” This track is from the band’s new album “Royal Discordance,” which will be released on February 27.
The band commented on the single:
“‘Angel’s Wrath Whiskey’ lives up to its namesake. The first four shots are great, but too much of it will have you breaking down as hard as the end of the song.”
They also added the following about the album:
“This album is a concoction of chaos and revelry. A battle of light versus darkness, much like the story and themes covered in the record. If you really thought we were going to do Trinity for a second time, guess again.”

“Royal Discordance” Track Listing:
01. “The Problem with Apocalyptic Tyranny”
02. “You Didn’t Like Me Then (You Won’t Like Me Now)”

Nailed Shut MA have premiered a new video for their new song “Broken & Curled.” The band commented:
“The lyrics depict being lowered into the earth, post-death, after giving into one’s internal struggles. The video spotlights this internal struggle and the loss of one’s self.”
Shields have premiered a new song titled “Parasites.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Death & Connection,” which will be released on January 30. Vocalist Joe Edwards said the following about the single:
“‘Parasites’ is about the experience of sinking into depression and the warped internal relationship that develops within that state. Originally a rock song from a previous project, ‘Parasites’ was repurposed for our album. As the original track already had dark undertones, it was easy to re-frame it in moody industrial arrangements, allowing for a wide range of dynamic shifts between sections.”
