“Sometimes it feels like the world is slipping into a dreamstate of hell and most people do not even realize they are asleep inside it. Everywhere I look, I see noise, decay, violence, distraction, and now war becoming part of the daily landscape again. But to me, heaven and hell are not places waiting for us when we die. They’re states of consciousness we create every day while we are here in the flesh. The real question is what you choose to feed: the poison or the light. ‘Dreamstate Of Hell’ was the first song I wrote after moving to Los Angeles, and it became the starting point for everything that followed. Nunslaughter have premiered a new video for their new song “Jesus Fucking Dies.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Satanic Chaos Legions,” which will be released on June 26. Vocalist Don Of The Dead said the following about the single:
“This song germinated with one line from our guitarist, Tormentor, when he asked ‘Did Mary cum when Jesus was conceived?’ I find the whole Gospel absurd but the best part of the story is where ‘Jesus Fucking Dies.’”
Evanescence have shared a teaser for their new song “Who Will You Follow.” You can check that out below. The full track will be released on April 10. It will also appear on the band’s upcoming album.
Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward have been added to the Monsterpalooza convention. That event will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA on May 29-31. The musicians will be available for autographs and pro-photo ops. As previously reported, Alice Cooper and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor are also among the guests confirmed for the convention.
Harm’s Way vocalist James Pligge has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to the band’s late guitarist Bo Lueders. The frontman says he is “glad [they] got to live the life [they] did together.”
Here’s Pligge’s full statement:
“I struggled to come up with the right words because how can you sum up a lifetime of friendship in a small paragraph?
I met Bo 24 years ago, we were just young hardcore kids searching for our place. I was fortunate enough to meet Bo and Chris at the same time and we hit it off right away. From then on we created a bond that not many people can ever say they have with someone. I was able to play music, eat expensive food and see some of the world’s most beautiful places with him. We spent hours together in hotels rooms, in the drivers seat or shotgun just talking about the Sopranos or listening to Crowbar. It’s hard when everything you’ve done in the last 20 years is with someone who’s now gone and I’m going to really miss him.
Bo really cared about his friends and was a funny, kind and smart person. We lived a life not many get to do together and it is that I am forever grateful.
The last thing I’ll say is that there is nothing more important than your family and friends. Make sure to call them, see them and make plans with them. In the end the love and bonds we make with people will live on forever. Now Bo will live on in our memories, although I wish for nothing more that we could make more, I am glad we got to live the life we did together.
Conjurer have shared a new live video for their song “The Searing Glow.” You can check that out below. The clip was fimed during the band’s November 12, 2025 show at The Underworld in London, UK. The track appears on their latest album “Unself.”
Kiko Loureiro (ex-Megadeth, ex-Angra, etc.) has accused Arch Enemy of “copyright infringement.” The guitarist leveled the allegation in response to similarities between Arch Enemy’s “To The Last Breath” and his track “Talking Dreams.” However, Arch Enemy have since denied the accusation.
Loureiro initially said the following:
“Just helping to promote the new song by @archenemyofficial… you’re welcome.”
This elicited a response from Arch Enemy’s manager and former vocalist Angela Gossow:
“To be honest, I’d never heard Kiko’s music before. So, three notes are the same? Well, I guess that happens quite often in music. I’ve heard many Arch Enemy notes in other songs, but I would never accuse the other band of plagiarism… on the contrary, I would probably feel honored to inspire others. It’s sad to read a post like this from a guitarist we all respected. What’s the point of it? If you really think you have a case, get in touch and discuss it professionally, don’t make a post like this. Respectfully, the management team, who are used to dealing with this type of allegation and prefer to handle things carefully.”
Guitarist Michael Amott also chimed in:
“Thanks, brother! Looks like I should pay more attention to your solo work! See you at @bangersopenair!”
From there, things got more serious with legal action having taken place. As such, Arch Enemy decided to share “clear evidence” to prove their case. The band said the following about that:
“Anyone familiar with our creative process knows that we document extensively. Demos, drafts, and iterations are part of how we build our sound, and in this case, that documentation unquestionably establishes the timeline.”
Amott added:
“Hey Kiko, sorry to disappoint you and your lawyer, but as you can see and hear, I had the melody back in 2022 already, 2 years before you released your song. Any similarities are purely coincidental. Enjoy the video and good luck with your music, I will continue to not listen to it. Cheers!”
A GoFundMe has been launched to assist with the funeral expenses for late Harm’s Way guitarist Bo Lueders. His HardLore podcast co-host Colin Young (Twitching Tongues) commented:
