10 Years have earned some new platinum and gold singles in the United States. The following tracks were recently certified by the RIAA: “Wasteland” (2x platinum), “Beautiful” (gold), and “Fix Me” (gold).

The band commented:
“Today was a BIG day.
A day that doesn’t happen without every single one of you who’s ever let our music into your life.
“Wasteland” is now officially 2x PLATINUM.
“Beautiful” is GOLD.
“Fix Me” is GOLD.We don’t usually get caught up in numbers or milestones, but this one hits different. Because this isn’t about stats — it’s about time. Years of you holding onto these songs. Coming back to them. Finding something in them when you needed it most.
That means more to us than anything.
The fact that something we created has been a place for you — whether that’s solace, strength, or just a moment of peace — is something we’ll never take lightly.
We’re beyond grateful. Truly.
Thank you for carrying these songs with you all these years.
And we’re not even close to done.”

It was the first track completed for the new album, written with assistance from Eric Klinger and our former guitarist, Matt Sheridan.”

Devin Townsend has shared “The Afterlife” version of his song “Enter The City.” That take on the track is from the deluxe edition of his rock opera “The Moth.” That effort will be released on May 29.
Townsend said the following about the deluxe album:
“‘The Moth‘ is big. It’s really really big. You can take basically any element of the recording and I feel it stands alone. The whole thing together, especially when I feel the levels are all at their proper volumes, can feel like a soundtrack to a nervous breakdown 🙂
This version of ‘The Moth‘ is essentially focused on just the choir and orchestra. The NNO (North Netherlands National Choir and Orchestra) had been practicing their parts for quite a while before I came in with the band. They had not heard the final version, in which a full orchestra and choir are almost ‘trivialized’ by the onslaught of information (by design, by the way..,) so while in rehearsal, I felt a palpable sigh of relief from the choir when I proposed doing a ‘reduction’ of ‘The Moth‘: only choir and orchestra.
So that’s what you are hearing here. I hope it gives you some insight to the depths of this recording, and frankly: the NNO had no business being as amazing as they are for a weirdo like me, and I will forever be grateful to everyone involved in making it happen. They guided me through my insecurities and put such passion into what they did, that not presenting their naked work to the audience seems a crime.
Thank you to everyone involved and I hope you enjoy this take in ‘The Moth‘ :)”
