Below is the official statement in English. We are sorry we are missing you Italy. The rest of the tour is still on!! Hope to see you soon!! +++ OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE +++ Following the order signed by the President of the Lombardy Region, we are forced to suspend all the events scheduled at the Trezzo Live Club. It is a precautionary measure valid unless corrections are made until 1 March 2020. We will shortly communicate the recovery date and the refund modalities. We want to clarify to all those who have followed us for years and also to those who have never come to us, who we have tried in all ways, expected and hoped with you, to be able to go ahead with our events and provide you with services and offer for which you have always appreciated us. The cancellation of an event causes economic damage and serious inconvenience to everyone, especially you and the public, who often make sacrifices in terms of time and money to make sure you participate in an event or concert of the band you love: by booking travel, accommodation , taking leave and vacation days. It is economic damage also for the club, obviously, for the intermediary agencies, for the companies and workers involved, up to the artists themselves. They are therefore choices that must be carefully considered, in order to also evaluate possible recoveries in the case of international tours in particular. Regarding the epidemic situation, our personal conviction is that the infection does not stop by stopping only the entertainment, sport and culture, instead leaving free access to shopping centers, supermarkets, shops, banks, public transport and offices. It is a virus that has reached every corner of the globe and is transmitted even just by walking, but which fortunately has a very limited incidence of danger. If you want to tackle the problem seriously, healthcare must be structured above all to treat serious cases. We hope to see you all as soon as possible with more and more desire to be and have fun.

Gary Holt (Exodus) & Alex Skolnick (Testament) Detail “Terrifying” Ferry Ride Through Powerful Winter Storm

Exodus, Testament, and Death Angel are currently on tour in Europe and while they were taking the ferry from Sweden to Finland on February 9, they were hit by a powerful winter storm called Storm Ciara. Alex Skolnick (Testament) and Gary Holt (Exodus) shared some posts regarding that:

Yesterday was insane, although some reports are greatly exaggerated…Yes, our overnight ferry from #stockholm to #helsinki got caught in #stormsabine aka Storm Ciara. With hurricane level winds, 25 ft waves, our large vessel felt like the “Minnow” from #gilligansisland . There was wreckage all over the ship (@garyholt_official’s pic is not the result of partying) & most of us didn’t sleep a wink. Some of us who “never” get seasick had an exception (hello 👋🏼 🤢). Here’s where things got misreported online – our equipment truck wasn’t thrown overboard (although no one would’ve been surprised in those conditions) – it was on the next ferry which was postponed (as ours probably should have been)…So we did the gig punk rock style – street clothes, borrowed gear – 1st pic is just before going on w @punkerted’s guitar (Thank you to @deathangelofficial & @exodusbandofficial whose equipment arrived on the same boat as ours) and a literal t-shirt as backdrop. The wild crowd was incredibly understanding and in fact, seemed to especially enjoy the set, which included many songs pulled out of the hat. Ok, not the leisurely ferry ride that was anticipated (still feeling beat up) but as @brianmayforreal & co said, “the show must go on.” _ Soon, we are on in #Tampere, Fi with everything back to normal (🤞)….

Testament Premiere “Night Of The Witch” Lyric Video

Testament have premiered a lyric video for their new song “Night Of The Witch.” This track is from their new album “Titans Of Creation,” which will be released on April 3.

Chuck Billy commented:

“It has been months since the final mixing of ‘Titans Of Creation’ and we are eager for fans to hear it. We feel that we put a lot into this record and at the end of the day it is a Testament record that stands on its own. We are very proud of ‘Titans Of Creation’.

‘Night Of The Witch’ uses old school lyrics about witches chanting in the moonlight and casting spells. The beauty of this song is that I worked in Eric’s vocals into the chorus. I wanted to incorporate him as he does Dragonlord and this song was a perfect match. It is a heavy song and a great way to introduce everyone to ‘Titans Of Creation'”.

Testament Planning To Release New Album In April

It looks like Testament are planning to release their new album on April 3. Frontman Chuck Billy confirmed the news during a recent interview with Heavy New York and he also had the following to say about the effort:

“You’re always trying to top your last record, and I thought ‘Brotherhood‘, up to that point, was a pretty strong record. This one, it definitely stands on its own — all the songs have their own identity. Eric somehow came up with a way to make it be Testament but feel fresh and new still Testament, so that’s pretty awesome.”.

Chuck Billy Says Testament’s New Album Has “A Bunch Of Different Moods”

During a recent interview with Lana Morgan of Milwaukee’s 102.9 The Hog, Testament’s Chuck Billy talked a bit about the band’s new album. According to him, the effort has “a bunch of different moods.”

Billy said the following:

“I don’t know about surprises, but I think we definitely keep TESTAMENT fans on their toes as far as it’s always something new, always a different twist, always a different feel, but still being TESTAMENT. So I think again Eric [Peterson, guitar] really captured some new riffs. The mix is pretty straightforward TESTAMENT, like it’s been, but I think the songwriting is definitely a little bit… It has a little of everything; it’s got a bunch of different moods on the record. Again, I think fans will be, like, ‘Yeah, right on.’ It’s definitely a different TESTAMENT record.”

He also revealed that the record won’t include a ballad, despite previously saying that it would:

“We have some moody stuff, but I wouldn’t say we would gear up to try to write a ballad. I just think — I don’t know if that’s really who TESTAMENT is.

When we had Atlantic Records backing us, they were always the ones that wanted the singles and the videos, and everything always seemed to lean towards the ballads. So, that’s kind of where that went back in those days. But we’re long past that now.”
