Palaye Royale Premiere Music Videos For New Songs “Punching Bag” And “No Love In LA”

Palaye Royale have released two new songs, “Punching Bag” and “No Love In LA.” You can find official videos for those tracks below. The band commented:

“Truth, honesty and angst is what we aimed to capture collectively as a band throughout this writing process. We found a new appreciation for one another during this recording process, becoming more accepting of our past and more satisfied with our present because of the art we created in what we feel is our most important music we’ve released to date. Palaye Royale has always been about pushing boundaries and on Punching Bag and No Love In LA we’ve gone beyond what we ever thought possible musically and lyrically by putting faith in each other, trusting our instincts and allowing real creative freedom to ourselves and our producer, Chris Greatti. It is with massive excitement and feelings of triumph that we raise the curtain on what is most certainly our boldest era yet. We hope you’re ready for the journey.”

Palaye Royale Announce “Curse Of Calypso” Augmented Reality Experience

Palaye Royale have teamed up with hologram company Jadu for a new augmented reality experience called “Curse Of Calypso.” You can find a trailer for that below. The 10-minute “longform, immersive alt rock opera” will launch on February 9 and it will feature three tracks from the band’s latest album “The Bastards,” including “Doom,” “Nightmares,” and “Redeemer.” The group told Spin the following:

“After our world tour was postponed in 2020 we wanted to connect more in-depth with our fans in these times of isolation. An AR interactive music video experience with Jadu was the result. A truly immersive experience that reveals the Palaye Royale environment in your own room. Follow along with the story and get lost inside our world.”

Palaye Royale Announce “The Bastards” Graphic Novel And 2021 North American Tour

Palaye Royale have announced that they will be releasing a new graphic novel based on their latest album “The Bastards.” The book is titled “The Bastards: Vol. 1” and it will be available on December 12.

The band commented:

“Welcome to the world of Palaye Royale, where one can reside, reign and recreated themselves when destroyed by living. Ever since the conception of the band and the first single ‘Morning Light’ we have been hiding pieces of this story, within the lyrics, artwork, and visuals. Finally after years of work the doors are opened for all to enter. The best travel one can take in times like these is inside their own mind, in memory or imagination. Get lost in the pages of our book. Enjoy the ride. Love the void.”

Palaye Royale Release Cover Of Tears For Fears’ “Mad World”

“Our cover of Tears for Fears hit, ‘Mad World’ is out now! Despite the original being released nearly 40 years ago, the timeless content of the song is just as relevant today as it was back in 1982. We hope you enjoy our twist on this classic.”

Palaye Royale Fire Touring Bassist Daniel Curcio Following Misconduct Allegations

Palaye Royale have fired touring bassist Daniel Curcio following allegations of misconduct with underage fans. The band commented:

“Palaye Royale have always been the three members. We are extremely disappointed in the actions of one of our touring musicians. His decisions are not in any way a reflection on us, we have worked our whole lives to achieve where we are today. Under no circumstances will we allow misconduct to anyone especially our fans; safety is our number one priority.”

Palaye Royale Premiere Animated Video For “Little Bastards”

Palaye Royale have premiered an animated video for their new song “Little Bastards.” This track is from their new album “The Bastards,” which will be released on May 29.

The storyboard for the clip is based on the band’s upcoming graphic novel and guitarist Sebastian Danzig had the following to say about it:

“‘Little Bastards’ is the opening track from our third album, ‘The Bastards’. Musically, we show the direction of the album all in a single track. The vulnerability, the truth and the aggression all wrapped together in a three-and-a-half-minute track which will set the listener up for what is too come for the next 14 tracks and what corners we will touch. Lyrically, it trails from our latest release ‘Lonely’ but displaying the frustration and anger towards individuals that are meant to be friends. Visually, we wanted to display our current state which is complete isolation from the world; trapped inside a house but yet the toxic society has found its way inside. We have to ‘band’ together to keep our circle of trust and honesty tight.”
