Metal Anarchy

Palaye Royale have premiered a new song titled “Lost In Translation.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Amsterdamage,” which will be released on January 22, 2027 via Sumerian Records.

Vocalist Remington Leith commented:

“We felt pretty nostalgic writing this one. It took us back to the music we grew up on which was a lot of mid 2000s Brit rock bands. We wanted something upbeat and one that would go crazy live but the lyrics represent wanting to make something work so bad, whether it be a dream or a relationship and it seems like something is in the way of it working out and trying to push through at any cost.”

Drummer Emerson Barrett added:

“I think if we didn’t have this album, we would have all kind of gone separate ways. After losing our mother, this is our phoenix rising from the ashes. Each one of us took our own paths in dealing with death, and rejoined not only as individuals, but with our partners, and as brothers. This creative bond was the thing that kept us together.”
