Hyro The Hero Releases New EP “Worst Behavior”

Hyro The Hero has released a new EP titled “Worst Behavior.” The effort features four tracks including: “Who’s That Playing On The Radio?” (feat. Mötley Crüe’s Mick Mars and Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop), “Retaliation Generation” (feat. Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas), “Worst Behavior,” and “5 Senses.” Hyro commented:

“My new EP ‘Worst Behavior’ is exactly that, it’s me acting bad on these tracks. My mindset was on performance mode, since I have not toured in awhile due to the pandemic. I wanted to capture the energy I feel on stage through these songs on this record. It’s full-on energy with the same Hyro The Hero spirit, just a little more advanced now.”

Hyro The Hero Joins Forces With Mötley Crüe’s Mick Mars & Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop For New Song “Who’s That Playing On Your Radio”

Hyro The Hero has premiered a new video for his new song “Who’s That Playing On Your Radio.” The track, which features Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars and Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop, will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming horror film “The Retaliators.” As previously reported, that movie will be released on September 14, while the soundtrack will be released on September 16. Hyro commented:

“‘Who’s That Playing On Your Radio’ is the perfect example of when worlds collide. Not only do you hear the epic vocals of Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, but you also get the legendary guitar skills of Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe. It’s the perfect mix to bring about my description of two opposing sides ready to go to war and creating noise among the masses. Both sides believe in their heart they are right while simultaneously thinking each other is brainwashed. A constant cycle of society’s arguments.”

Mars added:

“I had a great time playing on this track. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did playing on it.”

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Guests On New Version Of Hyro The Hero’s “Kids Against The Monsters”

Hyro The Hero has teamed up with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor for a new version of “Kids Against The Monsters.“ You can check that out below. The song serves as the title track of Hyro’s new EP, which is available now.

Hyro commented:

“Working with Corey Taylor was absolutely incredible. When I first heard him sing the words of the chorus we created, I got chills. ‘Kids Against The Monsters‘ is about the problems we deal with from generation to generation. This generation is trying to find peace and fix past mistakes. When you press play and listen to my music, I want you to feel the positivity and love.”

Taylor added:

“It’s always nice to collaborate with up-and-coming talent, especially when you’re a genuine fan. I was stoked to hop on this song with Hyro The Hero. He embodies what a true artist is meant to do: make you feel something. This song is a great reminder that we’re stronger together when facing our demons.”

Hyro The Hero Premieres New Song “Kids Against The Monsters”

Hyro The Hero has premiered a new song titled “Kids Against The Monsters.” He said the following about that:

“My song ‘Kids Against The Monsters‘ has to be one of my favorite tracks I’ve ever done. I’m singing on the chorus, which I don’t often do, and I think the lyrics convey a meaningful and powerful message of how it feels going through society being looked down upon by the older generations. Big corporations, along with the people and power they represent, have too much control and yet are not understanding the youth’s reaction to the complications we are facing at this time. But technology has become a staple in our upbringing and has forced the world to listen to younger generations in ways they couldn’t before. I believe this song speaks to that and more in an epic way.”

Hyro The Hero Premieres Video For New Song “FU2” Featuring Fire From The Gods’ AJ Channer

Hyro commented:

“‘FU2‘ is action-packed. AJ Channer and I went absolutely crazy on this track. We are in a wild time in the world right now that I feel pushes division. I’m all about the people, but certain powers have used social media to keep us fighting. Though the message is strong, I do not want it mixed up with any agenda. I’m 100% about the 99%.”

Channer added:

“Hyro and I go way back and a collaboration together is long overdue. I’m so stoked on everything he’s been doing and taking part in this song means so much to me. I only hope we can play it together one day on tour!”

Hyro The Hero Premieres New Song “Legendary” Featuring Atreyu’s Brandon Saller

Hyro The Hero has premiered a new single titled “Legendary.” The track features Atreyu’s Brandon Saller and it will appear on Hyro’s new mixtape “Kids Against Monsters.” Notably, Matt Good (From First To Last) and Saller’s Atreyu bandmates Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel helped co-write the song.

Hyro commented:

“‘Legendary‘ is a look into the life and feeling of a champion. I wanted to express how it would feel in my mind to make such an impact on the world that you are considered a legend. I’m so happy that Atreyu was able to be a part of this song and that Brandon Saller lent his amazing vocals. They have been in the game for years and bring an actual legendary power and life to it. This is such an epic track and my goal is that it will inspire others to lean into their greatness.”

Saller added:

“Hyro first got put on my radar maybe seven years ago by a good friend, Fred Archambault. Since then I’ve had my eye on what he was doing. Last summer, we did the ‘Disrupt Festival‘ with him, and he blew me away at every show. His energy was amazing and we immediately hit it off. When the opportunity came to be on a track with him, I had no hesitations. This song has such a vibe to it and has so much power. I’m stoked to be a part of it.”

Hyro The Hero Premieres New Song “Retaliation Generation” Featuring Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills)

Hyro The Hero has premiered a new song titled “Retaliation Generation.” This track features Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills) and a lyric video for it can be found below:

Hyro commented:

“‘Retaliation Generation’ is a great song that represents the style of music I have come to be known for. Having Spencer sing the hook and Matt Good on production blasted this track into ‘anthem’ territory. I think this song captures the emotion of what this generation feels in this crazy time we are living in. It’s full on attack mode right from the beginning it’s such a great feeling when an artist like Spencer helps take a song like this to the next level. I want anybody who listens to this song to be a voice. Stand up for what you believe in.”

Charnas added:

“All I kept hearing from my people is how sick Hyro the Hero is, so I checked him out at The Viper Room, and it reminded me of the first time I saw Rage Against the Machine. It was just off-the-chain, unbridled energy and I knew I wanted to be a part of it, and was lucky enough to be asked.”

“I think with everything going on in the last several years, our generation is holding people accountable. It’s a movement in terms of a ‘You ain’t getting away with this shit anymore.’ It’s a battle cry. I think it’s got such a cool overall message of not letting trials and tribulations of the world get you down. I think people can be their own worst enemy, and this is a song of empowerment. You can fight for what you believe in. It’s up to you to put up or shut up.”

In other news, Hyro will also be hosting a Twitch livestream with Charnas, AJ Channer (Fire From the Gods), and Ben Bruce (Asking Alexandria) on January 22 at 1pm PST/4pm EST. As previously reported, he will also be playing a virtual show with Fire From The Gods and Ill Niño on January 30.

“Being able to share this amazing track with Chad just makes the song even more epic. He has always been a huge supporter and a great homie ever since we met in England years ago. Once he got a hold of this track he did not hesitate to record it. He felt it, got on the mic, and killed it.”

Gray added:

“I had such a blast getting in the studio recording this song with Hyro. The verses he wrote were so compelling to me. I knew right when I heard it, that this is the track I wanted to be a part of – I’m so proud of Hyro and this track. And it’s always nice when the melody and lyrics write themselves.
