Fit For A King Premiere New Song “Times Like This” Featuring The Ghost Inside’s Jonathan Vigil

Fit For A King have premiered a new song titled “Times Like This.” This track features The Ghost Inside’s Jonathan Vigil and it will appear on the band’s new album “The Hell We Create,” which is set to be released on October 28. Fit For A King’s Ryan Kirby commented:

“‘Times Like This‘ is about how as a society, we have accepted misinformation as a part of life, and in some cases, even embraced it. Those in power keep us at each other’s throats using these tactics, and when we rise above the noise, we can finally give the throne back to the many — not the few.”

Fit For A King Premiere “End (The Other Side)” Music Video

Fit For A King have premiered a new video for their new song “End (The Other Side).” This track is from the band’s new album “The Hell We Create,” which will be released on October 28.

Singer Ryan Kirby said the following about the song:

“‘End (The Other Side)’ is one of the most personal songs I have ever written, lyrically. This song is about my wife’s near-death experience, after having a stroke, and how the experience not only showed me how unprepared I was to lose her, but also how unprepared I am to face death. I am fortunate to have not dealt with much death in my life, but I learned, in the end, that death comes for us all.”

He also added the following about the album:

“It is a reflection of the events that happened throughout the pandemic. In short, my wife and I adopted children and had to homeschool them. She almost died from a stroke. ‘The Hell We Create’ is by far the deepest and most personal record we’ve ever written.”

“I want to raise self-awareness. It’s not just important to fight for ourselves, but we’re fighting for others. You can reach out for help even if you’re scared. I know I was. I hope we can all reflect on not only what we put ourselves through, but what we put others through.”

Fit For A King Working On New Album

Fit For A King are working on a new album. Frontman Ryan Kirby tweeted the following about that:

Fit For A King Recruit Drummer Trey Celaya

Fit For A King have officially welcomed Trey Celaya (Invent Animate) to the band as their new drummer. He is taking over for Jared Easterling, who recently exited the group.

Fit For A King commented:

“We are excited to announce that @inventtrey will be joining the band full time playing drums. We have been great friends and have been touring together for a long time already, so this was an easy decision for us to make. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him behind the kit with us moving forward.”

Celaya added:

“you guys have probably seen that i’ve been touring with @fitforakingtx over the past few years, and i’m excited to announce that i’m officially their new drummer. i’m still in @invent_animate , and will continue to be an integral part of the songwriting and recording process, but i will no longer be touring with them. my inner fire has always told me to create, and i am blessed to be able to spread my wings and creatively contribute to two bad*ss bands that i love and regard as family. life is really busy between writing, recording with both bands, planning a wedding and touring, but my heart is full and i’m excited about everything that is to come. let us rock onward 🤙🏽”

Fit For A King Part Ways With Drummer Jared Easterling

Fit For A King have parted ways with drummer Jared Easterling. The band commented:

“Hey everyone. We are sad to announce Jared will be stepping away from the band to pursue an amazing life opportunity he has been presented with. There is no bad blood whatsoever and we are so excited for him and this new chapter of his life! Also, Bobby will be joining us on stage for the first time since 2018 for the rescheduled August Burns Red shows! If you’re able to make it, come see us with Jared and Bobby together for one final time. For those wanting more details, here is a message directly from Jared.”
