“This song is one of the only true ‘fiction’ songs we’ve written. It’s about a person witnessing the end of the world, and their description of the event and how they’re dealing with it.”

Fit For A King have premiered a new song titled “Dead Memory,” via Alternative Press. This song features guest vocals from Jake Luhrs (August Burns Red), and it will appear on the band’s new album, “Deathgrip,” which will be released on October 7.

Ryan Kirby said the following about the song:

“‘Dead Memory‘ is a song that is close to my heart. It’s about my wife’s internal struggles while dealing with her father not being there for her entire life. He would pop back when she was older and have hope for a future relationship, only for him to disappear again. It’s something that has really worn her down.”

Fit For A King have premiered a new song titled “Shadows & Echoes,” via Revolver. This song is from the band’s new album, “Deathgrip,” which will be released on October 7.

Ryan Kirby said the following about the song, which was written about the Paris terrorist attacks:

“‘Shadows & Echoes‘ is about peoples fear of speaking out when their views are seen as ‘politically incorrect.’ We live in a time where saying something unpopular, can cost us friends, jobs, or even our lives. But when we know something is right, we need to fight for it, regardless of the backlash.”

Fit For A King have premiered a new song titled “Pissed Off.” This song is from the band’s new album, “Deathgrip,” which will be released on October 7.

Ryan Kirby said the following about the song, which was written about the Paris terrorist attacks:

“The lyrics were written while we were playing Paris four nights after the attack on the Bataclan. Seeing the way fear had torn apart a beautiful city that I had always dreamed of visiting really pissed me off.

This song is a strong message about being absolutely fed up with all the violence and killing in the world and that our best way to fight this terror is to not live in fear.”
