Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready Teams Up With KT Tunstall & Thunderpussy’s Leah Julius On Cover Of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”

Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready has teamed up with KT Tunstall and Thunderpussy’s Leah Julius on a cover of the late Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” You can watch an official video for that below. The clip features studio footage and fan submitted photos from various protests.

Tunstall commented:

Legendary Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready & I headed down into the basement studio at Mike’s place with Leah Julius of Thunderpussy on drums, and reimagined a favourite song by a favourite, much missed artist. ‘I Won’t Back Down’ by Tom Petty (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers)

Thanks to all the amazing fans who sent in photos and footage of meaningful protests where they have stood up against injustice all over the world.

ALL proceeds from downloads will benefit Pearl Jam’s Foundation, Vitalogy.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!! ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿❤️
