We’re playing songs from ‘Murder the Mountains‘ to celebrate its 10-year anniversary along with numbers from our brand new album, ‘Arrows‘. Please join us, it’s going to be a hoot.”

Red Fang Premiere “Why” Video

Red Fang have premiered a new video for their new song “Why.” This track is from the band’s new album “Arrows,” which will be released on June 4. Aaron Beam commented:

“Whoa!!! This video is JAM-PACKED with thrills, chills and spills. Our buddy Ansel Wallenfang, director of the music video/video game for our track, ‘Antidote,’ is back with a wild and hilarious, but also touching story about a special group of friends who play together as the in-house band for a casual pizza restaurant. Things get a lot darker than you might imagine. We hope it’s not too cheesy!”

Red Fang Premiere New Song “Funeral Coach”

Red Fang have premiered a new song titled “Funeral Coach.” This track is from the band’s new album “Arrows,” which will be released on June 4. Aaron Beam commented:

“I was driving around and I saw a hearse that said, ‘funeral coach services’ on the back. So the first thing that popped into my head was a dude with a headset and a clipboard going, ‘Alright, dudes—more tears! Five minutes in is when the tears are critical, or no one’s gonna believe that anyone cares that this person died.’”

Red Fang To Release New Album “Arrows” In June, Premiere Video For Title Track

Red Fang will be releasing their new album “Arrows” on June 4. You can find a video for the effort’s title track below:

Bryan Giles said the following about the new record:

“It was so gratifying to put these songs on tape with [Chris] Funk! It felt very comfortable with a loose schedule. We didn’t take it one song at a time, but added guitars, vocals, or general weirdness whenever an idea sprang to mind. We busted out a hurdy gurdy! It was that fun. Long live Rock!!”

Aaron Beam continued:

“WOW! We are SO EXCITED to finally release this record to the world! We finished the album way back in December 2019 and then… something happened that is not worth discussing… Making this record felt totally loose and easy. It felt like we were just doing whatever the fuck we wanted, and not overthinking anything. That attitude reminded me a lot of what it felt like to make ‘Murder the Mountains‘. The result doesn’t sound anything like MTM, but it has more of that vibe.”

David Sullivan also added the following about working with Whitey McConnaughy on the new video:

“His way of presenting us really works. That first video he did for us for ‘Prehistoric Dog‘ gave us a big jumpstart as far as the band getting popular. And we love working with him.”

“Arrows” Track Listing:

01. “Take It Back”
02. “Unreal Estate”
03. “Arrows”
04. “My Disaster”

You Can Now Watch Red Fang’s “Antidote” Video Without Playing The Game

Red Fang have officially premiered the music video for their song “Antidote.“ The clip was previously only available as part of the band’s “Red Fang: Headbang!” video game. The group commented:

“For those of you who suck at video games, now you can hear our new single, ‘Antidote‘, uninterrupted by fun! It’s now available for download as a regular old digital single. But if you are up for the challenge, see if you can beat our high score on your smartphone!

Love, Red Fang“

Red Fang Premiere “Antidote” Video Via New Video Game App

Red Fang have premiered a new video for their song “Antidote“ via a new video game app called “Red Fang: Headbang!.” The game tracks the player’s movement and requires them to keep headbanging. However, if you stop, the band will die. If you choose to play, keep in mind that there are three different alternate endings.

The game was developed and directed by Wieden + Kennedy‘s Ansel Wallenfang and it features intro and outro music written by composer Disasterpeace. It’s worth noting that High On Fire‘s Matt Pike and comedian Brian Posehn helped with the game’s development as well.

Wallenfang commented:

“‘Red Fang: Headbang‘ is a culmination of everything I’ve wasted my life on—metal, arcades, and a warped sense of humor. It’s really a love letter to my childhood and all the things that make me, me.”

The band’s own Bryan Giles added:

“When Ansel Wallenfang first approached us with his video concept we all thought he was crazy! A year or so later we still think he’s crazy, but the video turned out amazing! We’re over the moon about it!”
