Scale The Summit have entered the studio to record their new album. Drummer Charlie Engen finished tracking his parts for the effort last month with Anup Sastry.

Charlie Engen (Scale The Summit) Has Been Drumming For Five Finger Death Punch

As previously reported, Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer is missing the band’s current tour with Breaking Benjamin, From Ashes To New, Bad Wolves, and In Flames so he can undergo back surgery. During his absence, the group have been touring with a previously unknown “drum prodigy” called “The Engine.“ Now, Charlie Engen (Scale The Summit, etc.) has officially confirmed that he has been the one sitting behind the kit.
