Unleash The Archers Share “Acoustipex” Playthrough Video

Unleash The Archers have shared a playthrough video for an acoustic version of their song “Apex.” The updated take on the song, which is called “Acoustipex,” will serve as the title track of a new two-song EP that will be included with the fifth anniversary deluxe edition of their 2017 album “Apex.” That effort will be released on November 18.

Singer Brittney Slayes commented:

“We are so excited to share ‘Acoustipex’ with you all; it’s a moody acoustic take on the title track from Apex and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it! It’s got a bit of a country vibe, but we added some symphonic elements as well to stay true to the synth theme of the record.

The music video was a challenge because we all live in different cities now, but we had a great time coming up with a concept we think you might appreciate. For those of you that have seen our acoustic version of ‘Apex’ on YouTube from CTV, you will understand where our inspiration came from lol 😉 Make sure to get your pre-orders for the EP in now before they’re all gone, and let us know what you think!”

Vented (Dååth, DevilDriver, Etc.) Premiere New Song “My Desire”

Vented (Dååth, DevilDriver, etc.) have shared a playthrough video for their new song “The End Game.” That track will appear on their upcoming album “Cruelty And Corruption.”

Sean Zatorsky commented:

“‘My Desire‘ is one of the first songs we wrote, it always felt like it should have been the first single. The song has so much groove, and so much vibe, it appealed to my friends more than any other track. ‘My Desire‘ is about to be myself and push the boundaries of anything I had ever attempted before.

Almost an ego death of sorts, push until you can’t push any further, until you achieve the impossible, hold nothing back. Essentially switching up my vocal style to finally be able to showcase something other than just screaming. This song was the beginning of the rest of the album, it set the tone and pace, for my vocals.”
