Black Crown Initiate Sign With Century Media Records

Black Crown Initiate have signed a new with Century Media Records. Vocalist Andy Thomas commented:

“It’s an incredible time for us as a band. We definitely have the most cohesive lineup we’ve ever had and cliché as it sounds, we are just finishing writing what we feel is our best album. To be on a label like Century Media with the pedigree that it has and the enthusiasm the people behind it have is refreshing as well. It’s a new chapter and in many ways a new beginning for us.”

Rivers Of Nihil To Perform “Where Owls Know My Name” In Full On European/UK Tour

Rivers Of Nihil have announced that they will be performing “Where Owls Know My Name” in full on their European/UK tour with Black Crown Initiate, MØL, and Orbit Culture. The group will be joined onstage by saxophonist Zach Strouse on this run.

The band said the following:

“After the absolutely insane ride that was the US “Owls” tour, and more than a third of the shows selling out we knew that we absolutely had to bring the same experience over to the UK and Europe.

This time we are bringing the one and only Zach Strouse along with us to play live saxophone. Zach played all of the saxophone on ‘Owls’ and we’ve managed to lure him out of his dwelling for this super special tour.

Don’t miss this one opportunity to see the true “Where Owls Know My Name” lineup play the record from front to back. Additionally, Andy Thomas from Black Crown Initiate will be joining us on stage each night to perform his guest parts from the record. See you all there!”

Black Crown Initiate have announced the addition of guitarist Ethan McKenna and drummer Samuel Santiago (ex-Gorod/Melechesh) to their lineup. Hey y’all! If any of you have seen our recent shows, you may have noticed some lineup changes. It is true that Jesse and Wes are no longer in the band, but there is zero bad blood. They are both still are dear buddies, and with the ridiculous amount of talent they both possess, we have no doubt that you’ll be hearing from them real soon! That being said, we are extremely excited to welcome Sam Santiago and Ethan Mckenna to Black Crown Initiate. You might know Sam from his work with Gorod, Beyond Creation, Arkhon Infaustus, and others, and he is doing an amazing job beating the tubs for us. Ethan Mckenna is a Reading, Pa based guitar wizard, and he was actually the first guitarist ever asked to join the band when Andy, Nick, and James put Black Crown together in 2012. Things change, grow, and come full circle, and we intend to deliver a killer new album and get back into your beautiful faces as soon as possible. Stay tuned and thanks! -The Böys 📸 @__photi__ #blackcrowninitiate
